No annoying managers or bosses, no clients waiting for hours, you decide who you deal with and when. It's how I do it as well :-)
ah lol also are you aware that square has the chip card and nfc payment processor? I use it to take apple and android pay as well as the chips. If you don't have it i recommend it. They may still have their promotion where if you buy it for $49 they will give you no fee processing for a bit and it totally pays for itself. Even if not it makes life simpler and if you get a fraudulent card the bank is liable instead of you.
My setup took about USD 13,000. Rent about 2100 a month. The ibiza brush is it the H4 or what. I am interested in getting those. My brushes need an update.

This is extremely encouraging! I'll be moving into my salon suite in the next few weeks. I was worried about the space because its 125 square feet, but I was told I could literally make it my own! Moving from a salon to a suite is extremely scary, but I'm TOTALLY stepping out on faith! And it's so worth it! I'm so glad God led me to this new place in my life to pursue his vision and calling on my life!
Can really see how you care about your clients needs and desires I have never went to a salon and was offered something to drink and they keep you there past your appt time dehydrated and everything. If I was in Cali I would come see you but I’m all the way in Cleveland. Maybe one day on vacation I will make an appt.

Just wanted to know, when you opened this salon, did you already have somewhat of a large clientele or did you just dive in and build one up, little by little? I had been planning on opening a small salon at home but frankly that may be a little more complicated than anticipated for more than one reason. I'm considering a salon suite because ideally i would like to work on my own, for myself, but i don't have what i would consider a decent enough clientele to bring in a consistent amount of cash flow to sustain said salon suite. I do freelancing and travel to clients but its getting old and i would love a home base. I feel if I had my own space like this, I would be more motivated to hustle, put myself out there more social media wise, see more clients and stay inspired in general; also by my own environment (Love decorating and I get life from a beautiful space). Just wanted your thoughts on this. Thanks!!
