Nice work on the batrep, the Salamanders army is really lovely. On a separate note, it really seems that ten-man lascannon teams are just too much unless the board has really heavy terrain cover.
Lascanons heavy support squads are arguably too powerful in this edition. Especially if you have a techmarine or a master of signals with them. You need to trade a like for like squad in shooting to get rid of them. Volkite culverin heavy supports tends to do the job. Overly cluster battlefields create their own issues in favouring melee focused armies. Its a fine balance for sure.
You guys quickly became one of my favorite Heresy channels. Great narration, love to see more Alpha Legion 🎉

Hi I’m new. Does the flare shield not reduce the strength of the lascannons by 1 so that it’s glancing on 6s? Lascannons are st9 ap2 right?
Correct, but the flare shield is only on the front armour, not the side armour.
