Yah i agree di siya mapa attention, simple at matipid, i remember my uncle was a former chief engr in davao del norte, noy was about to open the highway of Tagum, lahat daw nag prepare grabe pagkain at naka sara ang mga kalsada for his arrival, he landed in davao city, they were expecting huge convoy or maybe riding in a helecopter. Yung isang road going to dpwh tagum ay nkalaan sa knya. Then one simple car arrived, no convoys, no body guards, pag pasok sa gate sinita sila ng guard kase parating ang presidente at bawal outsider then nag open siya ng window and give a salute to the guard. If im not mistaken with him is the undersec of dpwh and mr lacierda, then he was telling bakit npakaraming hinanda etc? Then he was asking for a coffee only and give his speech and proceed to the road which about to open. No media's. No special treatment, he kept telling during his speech that he is working for the people at his famous tagline kayo ang boss ko. At dahil don kahit wala daw malaking katkong ang dpwh dahil napaka busisi nya sa numero mula sa pagkakataon n yun hinangaan siya ng tito ko. Thank you pnoy, you served our country well.

thank you for sharing this story sir. i voted for pres noy and i was glad he won. he is not perfect i know that but i know that he tried his best to served his country well. i hope many will share stories like this so other people will be informed of the kind of president he was back then. they call him names and throw dirt on him specially now that his dead. i hope people will just show respect specially that he is dead and cant defend himself. may his soul rest in peace.

He did so much for the country in such a short time but people failed to understand that PNoy's projects were approved while in service but implemented after he left public office. Unfortunately, the current administration does not know how to give where the credit is due.

Also, his administration left lots of money in the Treasury of the Philippines after their term. That was in the news during that time. Another thing that needs to be noted was the high GDP ranking of the Philippines during President Noy’s term. There were blunders but there were high markers, too.

Thank you Pnoy. You have done a great deal for our country. Economists cited him as the best president the Philippines ever had, so far. He was a servant leader. Under his term, the Phil achieved the highest sustained growth and reduced poverty and corruption immensely. The Phil became a rising tiger and was no longer sick man of Asia. He hauled 7million poor pinoys from poverty built over 100,000classrooms and gave us K12 which provides poor students the chance to learn skills for employment. A political scion admitted it was hard to make kurakot under Pnoy’s transparent govt. He made us proud by standing up against china to assert our rights over wps. He was upright honest humble honorable decent hardworking president who respected others and the ideals of our hard won democracy. Inayos nya bahay bago umalis. Duterte cited him for good housekeeping. Mas maayos na ekonomiya mas malaking pondo naiwan. Being president is not yellow red or blue. Choose wisely.
