When pulling a board up a hill behind me I’ll put it in speed mode 1 (easy) and give it just enough throttle to help overcome the weight and it’s much easier kinda like an EUC in walk mode. That said always bring spare belts, especially off road, or better convert to gear or chain drive. Fun ride and vid!
On a 4wd board, if you only chose 2wd mode, do you unattach the other 2 belts? or is there resistance when going forward in 2wd? I want to get the Atlas pro 4wd for Christmas, but if I drive it in 2wd most of the time, will I have resistance from the front belts? (slowing me down, or sudden breaking, which causes danger?) I am coming from hub motors.
Yes there will be resistance. No danger but u would actually get less range if u do that. What u need to do is remove the front two belts. And what i do is i remove the motor cover on the front side. So that its easy to install or remove belts. No issues so far and thats what i personally do.

Why the remote is losing signal just by lifting your hand near your chest?
They say its the battery cover up top. They sent a new cover to replace it. Not sure if it happens to other ares x1 owners or not
