The tax she calculated isn’t that accurate. The U.S. has tax brackets, but what people don’t know is that your income doesn’t automatically jump when you enter a new tax bracket. The first x amount is still taxed at the 10%. Then 11,001-44,725 is taxed at 12%, then whatever you make over that is taxed at 22% and so on. If you make $90,000, it doesn’t mean the whole amount is taxed at 22%.
