Nowadays everyone wants quick fame and everyone sounds the same, and with record labels you can put out a hit song and you will instantly get signed because it's also more about sales and money which is a shame. But what has been proven is that hardwork always pays off with longevity, this is why old school songs sound so good even to this day.
