Been loving your stuff from the beginnings. Are 3d printed buildings the way to go?. Why not people or little plastic parts to support you true skill. Electronics. You always had videos that coded for automated / DCC a layout. Surely there is a 3d print part to support this in the market. But hay, I just love your work, & commitment to the hobby. The way you share this hobby with everyone is what makes me keep watching your informative videos. Keep the vids coming. We love em.
Hi Jimmy, thanks for the ideas and FYI I received my order today. Thank you for this. Funny you mentioned the effects add on. I also received garbage cans and roof details today from Midwest. Next time I will look for yours. Chris
Good day Jimmy, Liked the video, good info. From my previous life in electronics and communications, I found the "new to the market" UV Glue available at the box stores, jungle land, and a few others works well for placing parts, it doesn't cure till it is hit with a UV light source. and using microdroppers I don't worry about too much applied like super glue. Takes a little practice. Also double sided Mirror-Mount Tape, 2"x3" holds small parts when I airbrush, I put the tape on a 4x6 index card and write on back opposite paint to remember which unit it goes with maybe a week later. That is available any craft, office, hardware store. Also have planes going over my place on their way to Stewart Airport.
Morning Jimmy, I'm having Grab-n-Go breakfast at the Garrison,NY Amtrack/MetroNorth Station waiting for the already late 7:30am to NYC. Great episode. Two, only 2, suggestions. When taping a model down, in your paint box, or similar corrugated, fold the tape back on itself to make it doubled sided. But also make some end of tape fold to use as a grab tab. Then you can lift the entire paint job out of the box and not mar you artistry. Second, I have been noticing lately that when you have an offset distraction you are throwing it into the BLOOPER REEL. Don't. Save it for post. An airplane flies overhead. Use it. Do a quick Alpha-Wipe animation of a plain flying diagonally across the field. The there's the BEEP, BEEP, BEEP of a truck backing up. Use it with an anima of a truck backing up on you bottom third. When the girls start to cry....your on your own. ~Jim
Jimmy, that looks amazing! Great job on the building. As I progress on my layout, I will definitely look into getting some of your buildings to tie things together. Thanks for sharing!
I have a question or two on DDC ; In running 4 lines next to each other (sim, to Amtax would you run one bus wire or 4 bus wires? My layout is N scale . thank you Ed
Can you do a video on how to use the Cad Program you talk about?
great tips Jimmy. Turned a nice model to a great model in just a few steps

Beutiful print and painting.

Great video I'm on to part 2. You might like using a airbrush and it will save you on your paint cost.

Nice detailing & weathering job Jimmy! You have a steadier hand than I to paint those fine details in N scale. Best, John
