What's the best way to make checkpoints? I want the race leaderboard to be as accurate as possible at all times. Is there a way to do that without just using a ton of checkpoints?

Good question! Basically the more checkpoints you have, the more accurate the positions will be. So you are right, the only way is to have lots of checkpoints which can get a bit much. They can be made invisible though. I'm not sure what happens if we use hundreds of them, They might confuse the leader board. I think the reason why we have to use the checkpoints is to not damage the performance of the game, as it would have to constantly update information. I would suggest a mixture of accuracy and minimalism, so the game can handle it but allow for good racing.
Also another tip is to make sure you place the checkpoints in order on the track, as the leader board can get confused and mess up the positions. For example if you place all your checkpoints and then add one in the middle somewhere, it may mess up the leader board. Hope this helps. Maybe that system will be updated in the future :) Thanks so much for watching the video! 😎👍👍
