Whoopsie! Our first evac cred ✅ in full disclosure the staff evacuated us safely, no one was harmed which is the main thing and it was all pretty routine!
We managed to break stealth this morning. Thought we would make stealth our first ride and managed first car which they sent 1/2 full. But they couldn’t dispatch the other train so we had to be evacuated from the brake run. First time in 25 years. Took the best part of 45 mins to get off the ride. Had to use harnesses in case we couldn’t walk in a straight line (no steps). Two fast track vouchers issued. Those that were in the line were all issued a fast track voucher.

That is a quality evac cred!! On a serious note, how worrying is the ride availability across Merlin parks thus far (weather aside)?! Will have to drastically improve that to A) move towards 365 operations, and B) compete with Universal...
We were there yesterday too and it was so disappointing! Ride availability was shocking. We Have had a couple if bad visits to chessington but nothing as bad as yesterday. I get its the start of the season and hopefully all the teething problems will be sorted soon but it was a very poor show! P. S pretty sure we have video of you stuck in tiger rock 🤣 im sure its hayleys head we can see lol
Legitimately one of my fears for log flume rides is the boats crashing and then overlapping! So seeing that has made me anxious for my visit next month 😂

Managed to get an evac on Thirteen once while it was absolutely chucking it down with rain, one of the staff just did little games with us to help pass the time, didn't help with the rain though aha
Haha yeah our member of staff just came down and made sure we were okay as they assessed the best way of getting us off without the boats dropping, thankfully the wedge was pretty strong but I’ve never seen a queue line evacuated so quickly haha

Bubbleworks was my childhood ride and I miss it more than anything. I do wish I rode the original but I'm not 30! I have been on 2 rides when they have broken down. Hulk and The Swarm
@LiftHillsandThrills both were on the final brakerun and went back up in 10 minutes, so no evac needed. I did get fastpass on Hulk, and there was a member of staff who talked to us on Swarm

We had a good day today mostly because I was with my 4 year old today so everything he could go on was open most of the day but the offering for the bigger kids was terrible. I don’t like that they put “opening later” on the queue boards/app for it then to not actually open. Mandrill didn’t even test all day. I believe they gave out refunds/return tickets at the end of the day due to lengthy downtime with other big rides. Like you breaking tiger rock! 😂
Many msny questions but the main question is... how...how did that happen. Obviously boats can bump into each other. You ride the boat...the boat doesn't ride the boat infront... come on that's what it looked like... hooray for boat humping
From what I’ve seen so far of Chessington opening the park not only didn’t look ready to open but didn’t have much attention given to it over the closed season. Basic jetwashing didn’t even seem to cross their mind. It’s clear which parks got Merlin’s investment this year and it wasn’t Chessington. I won’t be visiting this season. Place looks awful. Great vlog mind you 👏
We were told it's fairly common although I've never seen it and neither have people I know who have operated the ride before but staff were great and procedure was followed well
