You guys are a trip !! Hope to hang out with y'all when we begin working together !! Always great to see Josh !! Please tell me the scratch on rear passenger caliper was filled in ? I'm still OCD-ing over that...lolol....
Grat vid Rich & Dan. One way to help to keep the carbon fiber rear tray/diffuser from getting scraped up. A friend here in PHX had titanium guards made to go on to the vortices. He bonded them on. They were only a 1/4 inch high - C Channel. He used the CAD method for the specifications (Cardboard Aided Design). Kind of like a keel guard on an aluminum boat. It looks pretty cool since titanium and carbon fiber tend to match in color and in tech status. do you put dielectric grease on the outside of the coil but to keep it from sticking? Great Channel! Buona Fortunata! Ciao
i love the honesty of your content. thanks for being just a "Normal Guy" for all of us. you have made ownership of exotic cars more understandable for the average person.
At 10:59 in this I f'king cried out loud it was soo friggin' funny. The crap on your face Dan, OMG!!! I almost projectile spit out my drink which would have ruined my keyboard and possibly my monitor. Good video Gents!
Well, I was considering a used 458 however now that I see all the issues you have with both ur Ferraris I'm seriously reconsidering. I'm a Porsche guy from way back when so maybe stick to what I know won't give me all these problems ur having with Ferrari!
Well this things happen. Was good to see Richard and of course Josh. Now i have to say: dammmm Josh i love that Giulia, we need to see that in the chanel Dan :)
I think it's time for Richard to hang a hammock in the garage in preparation for the next scheduled maintenance - and accommodating all the visiting service techs!!!
Ive just seen that pedal commander now has the ability to be connected with a 458 and I believe 488, to eliminate delay in the throttle if im not mistaken. If you are looking to eliminate delay this could be it??
I hope the engine got cleaned.... It was like when you were a kid and your mom told you to always put on clean underwear because you never know...🤣🤣🤣 BTW, spark plugs...I don't touch em. Most are good for 100K miles, and unless you're getting misfires, forget it. The potential to do damage, much worse than what you did, is very high. If anything goes wrong at the "plug phase" you've got a potential head repair or if stuff from your coil fell down in the cylinder or any other unnoticeable debris, now you've got cylinder bore scoring and possible piston damage. Cost benefit analysis says, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, particularly at 22K miles.....
Geeze Richard, is that a 4x4? You need to lower that damn 458 and get rid of that gap! I’ll fund it! :-) They say that when your 458 is lower to the ground that your engine won’t get so dirty too!
.makes me wonder about the difficulties that lie ahead working on my 360 Spider. You guys don't exude a lot of confidence when it comes to working on Ferraris'.
Lol the two amateurs wearing Ferrari hats and ferrari coveralls with thier name patch screw up a simple spark plug change... The professional in a regular shirt save the day...
Should put some dielectric grease on those boots before they're reinstalled. It's a good practice plus makes it easier next time.
Always.
Always a treat to see Josh in a vid
Thanks again Dan......Josh is a life saver.....
Josh needs a more permanent role in this channel hahaha
josh and dan keep up the good work///place a rag under the tools on the ferrari engines no scratches ... please
You guys are a trip !!

"Shoemaker"... dammit, Richard. :P
Lol
Ha! Yeah it made me cringe too
He's just being efficient and translating for us😂
Hehe help him out Dan.

I enjoy your channel try Dielectric grease on coil will prevent this sticking in the future

Great video. Always great to see Richard and Josh 😁😁👍
How about putting a bit of dielectric grease on the plug contacts before the coil packs go on? Might make it easier pulling the packs easier next time
Hilarious! Now, how about some of that Testarossa content?!
Lesson learned, same as in IT, don't fix it if it's not broken
Thanks for getting that waddle waddle song stuck in my head.
You guys have such a good attitude when something goes wrong, you're not fazed by it. I know I would be.
If you don't stay positive, you'll lose your mind. LOL!
Dan, Hysterical episode. Laughed till my sides hurt. Shop humor is always the best humor. Thanks for sharing.
Lol yeah gotta laugh to keep your sanity.
Thanks for Sharing Dan.
Josh to the rescue.
Boy do I know Shit happens...

Good video Gents!
Haha thanks Stu!
Never just yard the coil out, use a really small flat blade to break the suction first.
Richard knows the best lunch spots. Let's hope he gets that boat slip and takes us out boating!!!
I agree!
God bless Josh!!😅 Nice to have him save some butts👍
Hell yes!

Epic, when your backup Ferrari is a Testarossa !!.👍👍🇺🇸

Yeah, maybe add a service tech lounge
If I lived in Texas I would let Josh service my Maserati. Well done.
Yeah that sucks when things should go straight forward 😕, happens to us all
Enjoy the drive!
I was cringing when u guys used the roof as a tool tray.
Ive just seen that pedal commander now has the ability to be connected with a 458 and I believe 488, to eliminate delay in the throttle if im not mistaken. If you are looking to eliminate delay this could be it??
Josh cracks me up! 😂😂😂
Oh man.. the duck scene.. LOL!!!
Josh is hilarious!
10:57 : that cheek-to-forehead scar... Blofeld, from the Donald Pleasence era.
Awesome video. Richard needs his own tier in your membership! 39.99$
Haha perhaps so
Ah, the beautiful noise of a four post lift making squeals/shudders...sounds just like my lift at the moment 😔
Any chance you know how tall Richard’s garage ceiling is? I need that lift... =)
Have a nice trip👌🏻 I might have taken the Testarossa anyway😉
Love the video! Have fun on the road.
Yup, rookie mistake.
Never start repairs/service before an event. Mr. Murphy is laughing right about now... lol
140$, bought a whole set for the BMW for that. Great video Dan, Thanks
This was F****** HILARIOUS!!! 😂🤣😂
Quack!
Man, that was an adventure.
"Shoe-MAKER's" car????
WTF, Richard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This gave me an epileptic attack
slk;jgfl;sadkfjfl;sdjf;lsdaf
It's the red paint.. Very flammable
Keep going I like your work
Richard has kick ass garage!
Leave it to Sawzall to bring the flock of ducks on the road for house calls. I'm surprised no one handed the man a beer afterwards
Birds of a feather, as they say...
Nice job Josh, + nice car!

Lol
On the plus side you did not cross thread the plug
Next video!
What ultimately had to be done or replaced to fix the electrical issue Richard screwed up when wiring the radar detector?
It spent a couple weeks at Ferrari. Ultimately they flashed the computers, reinstalled software and she fired right up.
Forget the CF diffuser Dan. It's a wear item...
Lucky you dudes know Josh
I'd be interested viewing that lift kit installed.
Get that shit outta there !!! :) LOL Your da man!!
Much better!
It would seem that the "ribbed for your pleasure" comment was prophetic, as later on the coil pack tried to screw you.....
Haha true story
How did you notice the issue?
It snapped
Does Josh use a Giulia for house calls?
Yup
It's the only running car out of my rag tag fleet. Lol
Here we Go again ................................LOLLL
Leason: Don't work on your Ferrari unless you have a mechanic on speed-dial.
That’s my luck 😹
Stop dicking around, guys - next time just drill it out!!!
Needle nose vice grip?
Misery loves company...and a beer.
Just do what the dealer would do and pull the engine.
Deep down inside Josh is saying that's what u guys get for working on your own cars.
🤷♂️ sadly there are more than enough mechanics getting paid to do shoddy work as well.
.makes me wonder about the difficulties that lie ahead working on my 360 Spider. You guys don't exude a lot of confidence when it comes to working on Ferraris'.
At least you wont have the Ford broken spark plug problem to deal with.
Richard has the worst luck ever!
Seriously!
Of 🦆 !
🦆 happens.
Josh has more horses in the QV .....
Sell the cars , keep the bikes
oh my....it's that easy to replace the belt....and stealership want $1200 for it...
Yeah belt is a easy one. The damn under tray is the worst part.
The extra zero is Ferrari surcharge.
check out Misha Charoudin on utube
Shoemaker huh
Lol the two amateurs wearing Ferrari hats and ferrari coveralls with thier name patch screw up a simple spark plug change... The professional in a regular shirt save the day...
Lol accurate!
Im so early quick let me post a funny comment!
These inconsistencies are the result of building cars in a shed with whatever parts happen to be at hand
Random fasteners? Made in Italy 😅
