Well man, i don't know what to say. I used to have a girlfriend who loved this song. Knew her since kindergarten, she was my sister's arch-nemesis. Guess that's why i liked her so much. (Me and my sister don't get along, twins rarely do.) We used to watch anime together, and i showed her NGE in 5h grade. She fell in love with it, and later in 7th grade (junior high), she asked me out. Fast forward to 9th grade, I had to break up with her, due to me having severe anxiety over her going to a different school that was a ways away from mine. She carved my name into her arm and passed away in the hospital. I went to see her, hours before she died. The only thing I can remember from that Evening was her humming this song. Since then, I have dreams of her, in a white dress, singing this song in our junior high schools garden. I miss her profusely, as if I may never meet someone like her again. Guess God cursed me for having such weak faith in such a perfect relationship, as if it were destined.
