I looked at several UA-cam videos for replacing my Samsung A42 touch screen, but this one was the best. I followed it carefully, and had a great success. My phone is now working perfectly again. A really good video.
My new screen and repair tools are on the way. Watching this video gives me hope I can get it done myself. Got it all for $80 on Amazon. Thanks for this.

Hello good guys, I've been looking for a replacement screen like crazy for a long time, and I've come across many pages which claim to be scams, ect... And if I find one on Amazon, it's worth the same as the new mobile. Might you help me? In case you know where I can ask for it or something... I'm desperate.

@@rickstechrepairs This is what I used, slowly use it and put it on low speed high heat only for a few seconds never staying in one place for too long.
A little late, but for everyone else's benefit; I used a cast iron pan on the stove and a temperature gun. Was able to dial it in to 70C pretty easily.
I contacted a repair shop linked to me by the Samsung website and asked if I could purchase the parts but they aren't allowed to. I'm hesitant to buy from a random seller online because they have few reviews and poor grammar in their descriptions. Do you have any recommendations? Also, your Hakko FX 951 Clone Station and CPB Heat Pad links are broken.
Does anyone know where I can buy the screen replacement I bought 1 off of amazon but it did not come with the home screen or the power touch button it also did not come with the little top square by the top which I would think was even there the speaker the top camera or pretty much anything I thought that I could switch the room placing but it was in a possible because someone thinks when I tried I just need to find a phone to get a place where I can get 1I just need a full replacement that has the home screen
I have an a42 5g but I keep noticing that mine is different from all the rest I've been seeing......mine has the flash in the quadrant array as opposed to underneath? Any thoughts on if this would affect this procedure/ method
Hey man, i have a samsung a42 5G. and i was cleaning the loudspeaker mesh and i noticed that the mesh is somewhat moving. im just wondering that in case the loudspeaker mesh got removed or detached. will it damage the phone?
You might want to add warnings about not puncturing your battery man. I did everything right untill I saw you pull that battery off easy as fuck and I was thinking it's just another simple adhesive

Just be very careful getting the battery out, they don't like to bend

That also works, and less chance of damaging the antenna jacks

can i use ethanol instead of isopropyl alcohol?
Don't have a heat pad so what sort of hear are we talking? Heatgun hot? Radiator hot? Hairdryer on high/low heat? Cheers. Great tutorial.

i would contact a few other repair store in your country / state and see if they call sell you the service pack screen

mesh that has moved will possible let stones get in to the phone and damage the ear piece

puncturing any battery is bad
I can literally smell fumes coming out of the battery now
They do have funny stuff on there, but it put a virus on my phone. I was told this
by Xfinity.
