Was very curious to see how you'd do the main "grocery shelving" but I am impressed - a lot of great things packed up -- it came out really well. GREAT idea on the Bakery aspect - like the idea of the store being a partner in selling from an actual Bakery shop in the city (there's a convenience shop chain where I live that does exactly that!). I'm getting very excited to see this completed and how the other original "Garage" modular floors stack up and look with the final Market build. Well done as always Robin!
It would be super cool if the bakery was one of the shops above the convenience store, but at the same time I think it would look great as its own little standalone building!
by the eggs you could use the egg yolk piece to represent a cracked egg you could also make a market selling all the things you couldnt fit in this build
Maybe you could use up some of your freight items like the jelly tiles by putting a alley behind the store with a delivery truck unloading items for the store.
I'm loving this series. I work at a grocery store so it's really cool seeing so many odds and ends in lego form. One suggestion I would offer is to make some cracked floor tiles if you have any stickers that would fit on them. Also a spider and/or mouse are a must to have hiding out somewhere. And lastly if you could fit in a scene of a customer or a child having dropped an item on the floor. That happens a lot.
Your moc is getting super busy, as it should be! Great amount of detail as always...you don't disappoint 👏! Thanks Robin, you inspire me to build all the time.
Wow, there are some absolute beauties in the ammendments; this makes this channel so interesting: the input of all the viewers makes the build even better.
1. The first bottom shelf u did, u should remove the 1x6 above the row of clipped products and use 2 1x6 plates and another row of the 1x2 with bar(in between the 2 1x6's) and have product clipped and hanging down in front of the other products. 2. Move the jar of jam over one stud closer to the stack of yellow to make the print more visible from the angle u will look at it from. 3. Move the spray bottles 45° cause that displays them better for the customer.
If you've ever been to a 'corner shop' in the UK that's exactly what they're like. Bread, eggs, tin of cat food, cleaning products all randomly next to each other 😄
Whenever I go to the corner store there always seams to be a spill in the aisle. And some teenagers in hoodies hanging around the front door. Can’t wait to see the next part.
Excellent job Robin! I just love the detail and how busy it is. The amendments were also genius, especially the scanner amendment. There are so many awesome ideas out there. I'm so glad you use some of your viewers suggestions. A couple I thought up are having a monitor screen in the back room that is recording from the camera, room permitting of course. Then on the back side of the building where you put the drain, maybe convert it to a like incoming power meter. Some buildings like that have large meters for the power for the store. If you could some how use a 1x1 snot brick and our one of those round printed tiles like they used for the parking meter on the diner. Just some ideas for ya. I can't wait for part 6 of this build. Keep up the fantastic work. 👍
If you don't have room for bakery and cheese shop, you could build them as food trucks and place them on sidewalks. The cheese shop truck might be yellow with a big mouse figure on the roof holding a piece of cheese. The big cake may be too big to be inside but it would make a wonderful sign for the bakery truck.
This build is looking so great, I look foreword to every update! Very honored my suggestion made the build this week! Can’t wait to see the next installment, keep up the good work!
The snowflakes make very nice icing packages. For a random advertisement sign somewhere you could build a stylized Simpsons Homer face akin to Mr. Sparkle. ;p The bakery could be on the 2nd floor. The baked goods downstairs could be made up there and could pair well with the seating area on that level.
13:57 Maybe, you could have some market stalls somewhere in brick-nottingham -like a little outdoor market- with people selling different thinks like crafts, old toys and most importantly food (like this cheese the you are showing). You could maybe even have just a couple outside of the supermarket. Just a thought 😁😁
Love all the details. For me, it just wouldn’t be an English city without a Butcher Shop and a Bakery. I spent a few weeks in Northern Ireland many years ago and just loved shopping in the local shops, the experience was as good as the food. Well done Robin.👍
another suggestion would be to have a small vertical bin with baguettes in, these are really common in supermarkets, maybe there isn't enough space, but im sure you love the challenge of squeezing more details in.
you could put the little basket pile by the self check outs as if people are putting there once finishing their shop, that would free up tiny area for baguettes
An idea you could do is a basket section. I know at my local corner store there is a place where you can grab your basket and shop. It could even be outside. Great work today!
This thing is really coming together! I really like the shelves, and the barcode scanner is just genius. Also love the bakery, there is a shop nearby that has a type of select your goods section too. Loving the build and I absolutely can not wait for the final part!
Hi there for the doorway you could try a build on the side technique with 3 plates in the branding colors to cary the branding from bottom to top over the door and back. Great series and awesome inspiration.

Probably late to the game here, but maybe replace the bottom of the 50% off sign with a SNOT brick etc. so the paper clips can rest on their side. They look a bit flat right now.
If you needed somewhere to sell meat cheese and bakery items, a street with market stalls might work as a space efficient (ish) option, as they're all common items at markets and it would mean they wouldn't need whole shops each
What a grate bild Robin! also a suggestion do you hate when you look at something in the store and you grab it and the so produces fall of the shelf there should me aperson in one ail and all the products fall of a d someone is mad or misrebel.
That looks so good! You seem to have 1/3 of the shop dedicated to checkouts though. Couldn’t you remove one self serve and replace it with the cheese cabinet (cheese is one of my favourite food groups). Good to see they aren’t suffering from the covid toilet roll shortage!
I was going to exclude the big checkout but hey, it's fun. A realistic supermarket would need all sorts of stuff. Cheese will have to have its own place now I think!

I love the colour scheme too. Graffiti, yes. I don't know which walls will be open yet though. I could do one by the back door I suppose. Good idea!
Did I spot some sticker-over-parts in the bakery section?? 😂 Coming along great. I hope there will be pineapples and watermelons for sale outside otherwise I can’t help but wonder where those customers got them from!
Maybe, yes. And maybe, yes. It looks quite good on the different coloured backgrounds!
looks great, can't wait to see where in the city you will put it, will it be next to the hotel or further down the road near the fairground...
Well it WAS supposed to be where the Hotel is, haha. Now I don't know!
Hey Robin can u change the menu on the left to have the prezel and the Croissant at the botom like they are in ur build. Nice work as usually.
Thanks, I can!
I think that if you added some brown bags to the bakery area
If you do a cheese shop, all the shelves need to be empty
Guess I'm not the only Monty Python fan here😊
Funny idea but I would need to have mine contaminated with cheese!
I was thinking extend the wall s out. Parst the atm ..inbetween I the two Gray Line s ..
This isn't a suggestion, but an assumption. Are you going to have a couple of wooden bins with watermelon/ PIneapples out front of the supermarket as some sort of sidewalk sale ?
Maaaybeeee!
