Recycled awesomeness..love the dark hallway recycled wall with old newspaper peelings, the mismatched dining chairs, the awesome beamed high ceiling in living room, the simple rustic elegance of the living room chandelier.. WOW!!!! I have seen hundreds of home tours on UA-cam each one more beautiful than the other but This one has it all above and beyond!! From furnishings to the lighting ,to the windows to the scenery outside every window it is just breath taking!!! I literally would only leave my home once a month for shopping lol. This makes me not ever having the need to watch another home tour cause this one has it all!! I'm In Love!! Sorry about the rambling was just so excited.

So excited to see someone who built this house and to see how they made it unique to them with modifications and decor. I've had this plan saved for at least 3 years on my house plans Pinterest board. It's so beautiful and they've made it so homey for their family. I am sure I'll settle for something smaller since my children are grown and gone, I surely don't need that much space., It sure was fun to see it. Blessings!

A lovely home. I agree, a separate pantry is great, we converted an unused spare bedroom near the kitchen into one, with a center island which is great for when the produce comes in from our garden, plenty of space to store canning supplies as well.
The butler's pantry is absolutely awesome. Love the table your husband made. Although I respect your choices, I can't imagine a home without a TV. Is there no TV, or is there just no TV downstairs? Your home is stunning. I can tell lots of planning went into this house. Love the mixture of old and new.
Thank you so much ☺️ We haven’t owned a TV for close to 5 years now. We do have a blow up screen that we set up outside for movie viewings for friends and family from time to time & if we want to watch a quick show, we pull up Netflix on our phone.

I wonder after living with it awhile what would you have done differently. The fireplace may be beautiful ambience but for me a corner wood stove makes better sense from a heating standpoint. Also the fireplace takes up sooo much real estate. I have a great room that combines living dining and kitchen space. I can’t imagine blocking the flow. She did a great job. I couldn’t notice the white subway tiles. I think she should have gone with a darker grout as you can see the dark lines between the ship lap. An easy to fix with a grout stain kit.

She did a great job. I couldn’t notice the white subway tiles. I think she should have gone with a darker grout as you can see the dark lines between the ship lap. An easy to fix with a grout stain kit.
