Wonderful video! Is the IE200 the less than $250 most similar tune to the HD650 and HD800? If not, what is the less than $250 IEM is the most similar tune to the HD800?
Final Audio A4000 is a bright IEM some people says is like HD700 HD800, I own it and I don't recommend you to buy it because in my opinion they're bad if you consider the price but it have a similar sound they say.
Btw they say it's free world wide shipping but that's not hundred percent accurate. I tried shipping to South Africa and they wanted to charge $20 something. Had to go look in the fine print and I see it has a clause excluding certain regions. But I'd South Africa isn't getting then I doubt anywhere in Africa and maybe some Middle Eastern countries won't get either. (South Africa is a major hub for shipping, so I assume it's actually really limited where they ship 2)
Pro tip: tape the nozzle channels up, then, and this is the big one, carefully poke two holes in each nozzle filter. It really opens up the sound. Use a small needle and don’t poke too deep or you’ll damage the driver. It must be TWO holes per side so air can travel freely.
Hoping the blessing dusk 3 doesn't have the kitchen appliance look that scratchs within a few months. Got the dunu falcon ultra and preferred it over my Kato as the blue finish dosnt show scatches as bad. For my next iem i would prefer a Hype 2 look without the quality control issues
The sheer amount of excellent IEMs in the $80 - $150 range that have come out over the last 9 months that offer SO much more than this IEM offers/delivers is what instantly comes to mind... I demo'd a set and was not very impressed by the cheap build materials (wow that ghetto cable) and the sound was just... good. That's it. It was just 'good'. Anyone could spend half of $150 and get a much better built/tuned IEM.
I do think the IE 200s have one thing going for them though. Which is the fit. Nothing I've tired feels better than the fit of these Iems. And I own a wide range across different price brackets.

My question is now, how do they compare sound wise with KZ ZVX's or Moondrop Chu's or something alot less expensive? Would come over to the shop to try out, but I've not been back to Malayisa for like 10 years, therefore also nowhere near Singapore.
Aha the Moondrop Chu's are a B***. But with how "bad" the ie300 are supposed to be and then being at B* doesn't sound that bad. Also couldn't find the ie200's on the list
Crinacle has yet to review many AND I MEAN MANY! Iems that are now populair in this current market. The Chu has had a lot of QC Issues and isn't sold anymore. The KZ KVX is a fine V-shape option, but not recommend by most. The Market has changed to the point that I would say B- are good Value till 39, B till 100, B+ till 200, A- till 300, A till 500. If you want something under 20. Then I would recommend looking into the Moondrop Chu 2 and Truthear Hola for Comfortable IEMS, Simgot EW100P and the better DSP version for most neutral sounding option. The Tanchjim One (both versions) for best Bullit Style Iem (normal looking earbud)
Please help! I am looking for new inears and I consider getting the IE400. I am a big fan of Sennheiser and I generally like the way they deal with treble and vocals. Ive once bought the DT990 Pro and as much as I wanted to like them, the treble did just fatigue my ears after listening a while, I did send them back. I also bought the CX+ true wireless because I wanted something for on the go and when riding my bike, but I have a love-hate relationship with them. They sound too boomey and too V shaped to me, but I can also appreciate that the lows are way more prominent than with the HD650. Now I am looking for inears that do give me the experience the way it was intended, but don’t lack bass in general. Can anyone confirm the IE 400 give me the bass I want when listening to 50cent and the clarity I want when listening to Andrea Bocelli? I really want something that does it all but has the typical Sennheiser treble. I also like the fact that I can hook them to the bluetooth module when riding a bike and wind noise is more of a disturbance than bandwidth. Thanks in advance
I have a pair of HD600, and I find them wonderful, very balanced signature. I have been looking for a good IEM that compares to them. I have tried the ie100 pro and 400 pro, but I'm not completely satisfied. In your opinion how does the ie200 stack up against the HD600's
My right ie 300 died like 5 months after I bought them due to the god awful cable they are using (the earhook "spring" broke and I was wearing them for some time like that which put pressure on the connector killing it - no way to repair and Sennheiser didn't honor warranty since I bought them from reseller outside of supported regions or something like that). Since they are using standard connector, but custom housing for it (dick move and it looks the same with those ones) I couldn't use other cables with them and the one they had (apart from the issue described) was also transferring any slightest touch with anything as loud noise to the headphone. Please do a Zeos thing and mention the whole headphone in a review (cable included) as those are actually important. If the cable is not changed with those headphones I would not recommend them no matter what. I loved the sound tho indeed, so that with less bass sound pretty good too.
I cannot find the stats on how much isolation these gives? Looking for a pair to use whilst live performing techno, Leaning towards the Shure 215 right now since they are really good at isolating the sound and it´s not AS important with the hifi-end of things , I need a pair that can be used live during the duration of the set to make sure i hear what i´m doing and at the same time saves my ears a bit. Anyone has any tips? The 215 seems to be a bit relaxed on the high-end? might also be good in a live high volume environment?
I got the IE 300 and the cable broke after a month of basic use. Horrific design that's anti consumer since you cant replace the cable with another standard one.
I must ask... but how can you put IEMs to share and try beetween visitors? Isn't it... well, unigienic? do you change tips and disinfect them after each use? do you use an UV box? Because the idea of putting an iem in my ears that was inside someone's else's ears and earwax just grosses the f out of me. So... how do you do that? Perhaps it's a dumb question. But i need to know :P
Has anyone else had issues contacting sennheiser customer service. My right side ie200 has super low volume from left. Filled out the contact form and it's been a month nothing. This experience is making me feel like sennheiser really isn't worth bothering with in the future. Ik products can be defective but man over a month to contact you back to start resolving the issue.
Value is subjective, but keep in mind they are 3D printed of Amorphous zirconium alloy, and made in Ireland. I love my IE600's, but use the IE200 way more often, because I can afford to loose or damage the IE200. Plus, I use a Ifi GoBlu when outside the house, and the loss of detail does not let the IE600 shine. I use the IE600 with a DAP, and they're fantastic for the music I listen to.
@@marzcapone9939 thanks for the info, I presume that the amorphous zirconium alloy is what drives the price up? I mean.. At the moment I have as IEM the Stellaris and FH3 - not sure if the IE200 would bring anything above these two, hence the though towards IE600.
@@iuliani1663 Yeah, the same IEM made in China would cost less, vs Ireland. I also suspect the IE600's shell, being metal, "should" last longer. OTOH, a severe drop could damage the internals, due to shock. The 4.4mm cable, on it's own is a $150 cable, and Sennheiser uses a proprietary cable. Campfire Audio had IEM's made of ceramic, and they warn against drops and even banging them together. The shock may not crack the ceramic shell, but would transfer the shock inside and damage the driver or components. I suspect the harder shells prevent bass frequencies from vibrating the shells, transfers more energy into sound. The CA Vega go down to 5Hz, and make you think a subwoofer is on somewhere, you can feel it in your spine. Yet, it's not a deafening pressure.

the ie200 are great for the price, but only if you replace the tips they come with. using the tips they came with i thought they sounded like total trash (even after taping over the nozzle hole) and actually didnt use them after a few days of trying, i just gave up on them. but once i replaced the tips with ones with a good seal and deep insertion they were totally transformed, suddenly acquiring some real bass as well as their treble. so they went from tinny and horrible to excellent just due to a tips change.
I wonder if you could use brace elastics to help the venting gimmick.
the cable was truly terrible, not as much the cable itself but the left side connection kept dropping right out of the box. they really need to fix this.
how are they for comfort and staying in your ears?
Wonderful video! Is the IE200 the less than $250 most similar tune to the HD650 and HD800?
If not, what is the less than $250 IEM is the most similar tune to the HD800?
Final Audio A4000 is a bright IEM some people says is like HD700 HD800, I own it and I don't recommend you to buy it because in my opinion they're bad if you consider the price but it have a similar sound they say.
Again let me tell you that they are not good, if you like IEM's IE200 is a solid great option
Surprised you didn't mention the tape mod.
Are those Ceruleans, Banana Splits, and Naevies on your desk Crin? I didn't know you were also into keyboards. Great video by the way
Btw they say it's free world wide shipping but that's not hundred percent accurate.
@crin why the IE200 wasn't on the ranking list?
those collection of switches at the background though
IEM for band practise (loud) and rough mixing? The IE 400 has some -dB Feature.
we gonna talk about the keyboard switches in the background?
Pro tip: tape the nozzle channels up, then, and this is the big one, carefully poke two holes in each nozzle filter. It really opens up the sound. Use a small needle and don’t poke too deep or you’ll damage the driver. It must be TWO holes per side so air can travel freely.
Feels like poking the holes first and then applying tape maybe a safer way of doing this, unless I'm missing something.
I've been waiting for this review 👌
KATO vs IE 200?
And if you want their cable with a 4.4mm connector, it’s another $150.
Which would you put above the IE200 in that price bracket?
@@pspr33 Olina SE, Kailua, P1 Max, EA500, Galileo, and Hexa are all better IEMs.
Give us some names of models that are better buy than this then.
This is so silly, there is different flavors but I absolutely love this iem. I thought it was uninspiring at first but it’s so addicting to keep listening to music
Congrats :) hello I need some advice please!
I’m from the UK, I use Apple Music and just brought the Fiio KA17 and need a list of good iems, I listen to mostly hip-hop, rap and dubstep what ones would you recommend?
It's all subjective the IE900 is loved by many audiophiles though I don't
Its 2023 man We need " best iem under 100$ (2023 ) " video . Also please review the hyped iems . Simgot ea500, ea1000, hype 2 , kiwi ears quintet, aful iems ..
im personally very used to unique melody sound, though maybe i think ue5pro will please more
it sounds like swans hivi placed around your head, they all worth the money, and wait
I would love a tier list of the most comfy iems you have!
Sure comfy would be from his standpoint, but may not be for everyones liking, so pretty subjective, even more so than sound quality and staging
I can't believe my eyes crin uploaded????
Thieaudio Monarch Mk III vid incoming? (Even better still - straight up a versus Prestige LTD?)
Hey Crin, when will the blessing 3 dusk be released?
I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on an iem in the 11.11 sale only for the blessing 3 dusk to drop next week xD
B3 down to $220 I wasn't able to contain myself
The Market has changed to the point that I would say B- are good Value till 39,
B till 100, B+ till 200, A- till 300, A till 500.
@@rickelijah4270Tanchjim Zero is also great and the price is only $15.
any of their lowends beat everything, normal iem and headphone shaped, available on the market
Whomes low end do you mean?@@iikatinggangsengii2471

My Lord When will you bless us the dusk 2?
I have a pair of HD600, and I find them wonderful, very balanced signature. I have been looking for a good IEM that compares to them. I have tried the ie100 pro and 400 pro, but I'm not completely satisfied. In your opinion how does the ie200 stack up against the HD600's
The people want your opinion on Monarch MKIII! 😆
Crin can you please review the Hype 2 from ThieAudio? 🙏
i'll die when i want to
Yo, 9:11
That's reasonable video length
I love my IE200 with tape mod and supplied foam tips. I am using a Tripowin Zombur on it which works 👌👌
Zombur has an MMCX connection? The website states that it has a 2 pin connection.
@@chiranjeet5568 there is a MMCX version that fits the IE200 without modification
I loved the sound tho indeed, so that with less bass sound pretty good too.
im more a mechanical keyboard enthusiast than an audiophile, but I burst. out laughing when budget meant $150. I should't have though.
i hate how for years "Budget Custom mechanical keyboard" actually meant it costs $400 :3
budget is $20 to $50 dollars in the audiophile community.
I've got one better. "Budget Ergo Mech"
He did say budget SENNHEISER, one of the best audiophile brands. You can get the salnotes Zero for 20 bucks or less
It's budget for Sennheiser, that's what he means I guess.
Should i upgrade my blon03 to this???
Can you review the OnePlus buds Pro 2. DMS rated them very highly and I would like to know what you think of them...
Happy Diwali 🎇🎇
Just as a funny thing, can you test the Aful "magic one", it's giving me warbler vibes
Listening to this on ie200 lmao
Come on Crin, review the Simgot EA500 already. Many of us are waiting for your views before we choose to part with our dough.
great, now I need to have a good tip control on my IEM as well 🙄
How does this compare to the truthears hexa? I'm deciding between them right now.
It doesnt support the wireless/bluetooth connector like the IE100/400/500, could you advise of why this is?
Moondrop > Sennheisers at this point
Only issue with IE 200 is they have a tendency to blow out after months of use
Waiting for videos with your keyboard(s). I am sure you make a good use of these switches.
B- techs seem to be a little underwhelming for the price. Hexa is A+ tone & B tech for way cheaper
These have amazing bass, at least when tape modded. And have gone on sale for $100
yes all those 2000s indeed seem pricey
this v3+ is really good though
And it is. Hexa gets B techs, at least how I see it, because it's a Hybrid and the 3 BAs really make a difference in the technical performance.
comfort is a major consideration for some and not a single one of those chifis even remotely approaches the IE series in that regard
I'm trying every iem and headphone if i ever visit singapore
Thanks for making a video
besides that: what happened to these 200s? you can't by them anymore! that sucks, sennheiser!
Is Realtek 1220 VB enough to drive these? I don't super loud but high resolution..
I cannot find the stats on how much isolation these gives?
Looking for a pair to use whilst live performing techno,
Leaning towards the Shure 215 right now since they are really good at isolating the sound and it´s not AS important with the hifi-end of things ,
I need a pair that can be used live during the duration of the set to make sure i hear what i´m doing and at the same time saves my ears a bit.
Anyone has any tips?
The 215 seems to be a bit relaxed on the high-end? might also be good in a live high volume environment?
I have it, it doesn’t leak too much but you still hear around you. I think you could get the Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO or better the DT700 PRO X
@@Crypto2638 want in ear monitors though
I got the IE 300 and the cable broke after a month of basic use. Horrific design that's anti consumer since you cant replace the cable with another standard one.
description dankpods reference?
Would running these through a usb-c to 3.5mm adapter decrease quality?
nope, not unless the cable is really REALLY bad
I must ask... but how can you put IEMs to share and try beetween visitors? Isn't it... well, unigienic? do you change tips and disinfect them after each use? do you use an UV box? Because the idea of putting an iem in my ears that was inside someone's else's ears and earwax just grosses the f out of me.
So... how do you do that? Perhaps it's a dumb question. But i need to know :P
The IEMs are wiped down with 70% IPA wipes between uses, so it's as hygenic as it can get.
Thanks for the review. Might order used like new fir $129
Has anyone else had issues contacting sennheiser customer service. My right side ie200 has super low volume from left. Filled out the contact form and it's been a month nothing. This experience is making me feel like sennheiser really isn't worth bothering with in the future. Ik products can be defective but man over a month to contact you back to start resolving the issue.
moondrop chu 2 coming? id like to see your thoughts,. I did need to buy a different cable as it was awful but after that i sent back my aria's
Hey, i can't seem find your review for the Sennheiser HD 400 pro, are they a close relative to the hd 600 by any chance?
@Crinacle, would the IE600 be worth 500$ today? I see some stores here have it at 500$ "black friday" wannabe price.
I mean.. I would use them at home to a zen dac v2, while on the go on an iph 14, it's just I never saw them this low, usually they go around 700-800$.
@@iuliani1663 I paid around $550 for them secondhand earlier this year. There is stuff I prefer though, like Variations or Xenns Top, both of which are around $400 right this second with coupons on Ali.
@marzcapone9939 ha a lot in your comment I can relate to!
I'm irish and got the ie600 in January and have used them on the go with just my android, and I've been hovering over the Go Blu for about 5 months! They have reviewed very well and the XSpace crossfeed button is very tempting because I love soundstage widening and the one on Go Blu is not DSP but actual components..Luckily my buying the 600 coincided with me not staying out late in a particular bar so I've used them constantly everywhere and not lost them, maybe 2 hairy moments...
Hello sir, i really love in earbuds but im open for everthing now after using a logitech x pro 😂 for competitive fps gaming. What will be the best option without spending 1000 of dollars. Like 4-600 on a headphone or iem is fine. Please give me some feedback so i can buy them right away. Also i will search for an amp/dac and microphone or do you just plugin in the pc? 🙏
