Women's football is boring and no one watches it. You can't name 3 Banyana Banyana current players. That's why Women's football doesn't get much sponsors. No one watches it. So you can pay them the same salary as men. It's like men's Netball...it doesn't even exist. Netball is a woman's sport. Likewise football is a man's sport.

Correction, you don't watch women's football. I don't expect these ladies to earn as much as men when it comes to club level. You are right women's football is not as popular and watched like men's football so from clubs level I don't expect them to earn the same. But from a national teams level they should, why because national teams are funded by SAFA which is funded by FIFA thru the government. So whether people watch or dont the funding will still be the same. It's not like psl where the commercial aspect is key. Think about it this way you are a women's footballer playing for TUT earning 3k a month and 3k per game for Banyana. Than you a player playing for sundowns earning 800k a month and 60k per game at Bafana. Who needs that 60k more between the sundowns player and the women's TUT player, whos life is it really gonna change and who's doing better national team wise?? To the sundowns player that's just pocket money. But to the banyana player she needs it because she earns nothing at club level.

Speak for yourself chief, I can name more than 50 SA women footballers ,from Regional league,Sasol,Hollywood to abroad based players.
