Rey Aguilar 28 to Life to Freedom

I've know Rey for about 20 years, We met at CMC-EAST where there was a group of us youngsters that either had LIFE or long sentences. I believe God brought us together for a reason and we have not yet began to see the full impact of what God has done and is doing through us. We all started doing bible studies, working out, everything together. Rey was also an inspiration for me seeing him pursing bible college and education even though he had LIFE. That was part of the fire lit in me that inspired me to higher education. When I paroled I reconnected with a lot of brothers still inside and Rey was one of them.
Rey's testimony is a story of Gods restoration, when everyone wrote him off, God was the only one left, to lift him up! His own family told his younger brother your brother is never getting out! What they failed to realize was, God was just getting started!
Rey achieved an Associates in Business and Social and Behavioral Sciences, also degrees as an Alcohol and Drug Specialist 1 and 2. Rey is currently working towards finishing his Bachelors in Human Services.

I truly appreciate your testimony Rey and I am glad to see that your are no longer incarcerated and decided to follow a path of righteousness. You my friend will be a an inspiration to those paths you cross.
