Watching challenge runs like these makes me realize how much of a solved game Fates is. I just finished a lunatic conquest playthrough and struggled but then i see all these challenges with well thought out plans, builds and strategies and realize I didnt even scratch the surface
Personally, I don't consider runs that use cheats or hacks to give the player infinite My Castle resources to be valid. By having access to all these resources, you can guarantee you hit all damage thresholds through forging/meal prep. There's no adapting to your situation and working with limited resources. Consider that you only have 1 reliable source of Gems/Food and limited pickups between battles. You need 5 gems to trade for a different one. You can't get other food items except by random drops, which means you can't insta-lock FCorrin and give Jakob the Chef's Hat. It may not seem like much on the surface, but it makes a huge difference overall. Some will argue that it's just a quality of life change. It's not. It's resource management they don't want to deal with. It's an advantage.
@@LAZERAK47V2 I’d argue the player was intended to use Streetpass visiting to skip the grind anyway, and such extreme resource limitations were never intended. A particularly degenerate player could get infinite resources in a 100% vanilla offline game by waiting three years or system clock abuse, anyway.
@@theleftfootedsultan I'd argue the street pass stuff was forcefully shoehorned into the game and the ressource limitations make the game more fun than the overabundance. It's just a shame it's so annoying to play around the system clock stuff unless you play in one sitting.
What I always find the most interesting and impressive about these runs are the first few setup chapters where you are feeding your solo unit all the exp and kills because the patience to do so is unreal. 98 turns to get Azura able to kill the shade in chapter 5 is crazy, but the thought process for everything, between pair-ups, seal partners for skills and classes. Really great stuff!
Love using Azura as a combat unit- as shown here, she can start at the level you want. She has insane growths, and her only fixes needed are with HP and Defense, which are plentiful in CQ. And since you get her so early on, her weapon ranks are easy to train.
Hinoka, Takumi and Sakura, unable to defeat the bottle, fled Hoshido in dishonor and shame, and now spend the rest of their days as wandering alcoholics.
Private Quarters abuse was almost certainly used both for Corrin and Azura, but also for Corrin and Arthur so he can become a Berserker while having Samurai talent
God I feel like I'm in too deep in the Fatestube land lol
just as the developers intended

I really enjoyed watching this run! Particularly chapter 26 you pulled out some really cool AI manipulations that got me super hyped.
The strongest legion of Nohrian soldiers ever assembled when Azura with an unforged kodachi shows up:
Ok, this is just about the coolest thing I've seen in Fates. Thanks for giving me something new to do!

I didn't even realize the generals had a little dance when they were healed. That's great.

and people still call fraudyoma the strongest swordmaster in this game

They should've say "Honor me... with a warriors' death."

Cool run! Watched it in one sitting 😁
Woah this is great
Azura showing that, yes, the pen is more powerful than the sword.
Why did they not attack Azura in some chapters?
0 damage or hit rate. in Chapter 26, it's AI setting that enemies won't act until door is open or they are attacked.
Big fan after this and the Felicia vid (I did well on that exam btw)
congrats!
It seems almost easier playing this way for some chapters 😂 but well done I like your videos
This is Lunatic, right?
yes
@@jarvisc6393 Man watching you either makes me think "holy cow they're incredible" or "wow I'm really bad at this game"
Gods what is that!
How did you get Azura and Corrin married so quickly?
It’s likely my castle. If you “wait” long enough you can get Corrin max support with anyone without any battles involved.
