This is nothing compared to the hour i took explaining the first part of the dream smp to someone: So, if you have no idea what the Dream SMP is, i can give you a summary and a brief explanation on the events up until the point of this animation. The Dream SMP is a roleplay Minecraft server (SMP meaning Survival Multiplayer) with "scripted improvisation". The main events are scripted but everything leasing up to those points were 100% improvised. Lets start from the beginning: Disc saga: The current players on the server at this point were: Dream (the dude in the mask and owner of the server) GeorgeNotFound Sapnap TommyInnit Ponk ItsAlyssa Jschlatt (for a few minutes before he got banned) Tommyinnit had built his house next to Ponks house, causing them to fight over land. Recently Ponk had been trapping peoples bases too, so Tommyinnit and Sapnap got revenge against Ponk, who teamed against Alyssa to start the first battle. Then Dream logged on and stole TommyInnits most prized possesions: his discs "Mellohi" and "Cat" as he started the conflict. He said they would be burned if he started any more conflict. Then a new person (Tubbo) joined the server, and teamed up with Tommy to get the discs back multiple times from Dream. They also attempted to do a trade, however both sides scammed each other. Tommy and Tubbo finally secured them in an Ender Chest. The L'Manburg Revolution A new player (Wilbur Soot) joined the Dream SMP and started a business. He would brew "potions" (Wilbur actually confirmed this was supposed to be meth but shhhhh) then sold them to people on the server. He got TommyInnit and ItsFundy (a new player) on his side. However, Sapnap figured them out and had them escorted to jail by himself, Eret (a new player), Purpled (a new player) ,Punz (a new player) and i think Tubbo maybe. However, Eret betrayed the guards and set Wilbur (his escort) free, and joining the other side. Tommy also convinced Tubbo to join their side. Together the businessmen started a nation they called L'manburg, however Dream and the others part of the Greater Dream SMP were not the biggest fan of this and held a massive war. In the end L'Manburg lost, as Eret betrayed L'Manburg and held a suprise attack on them, L'Manburg was also blown up by Dream. Tommy then held a 1v1 bow duel with Dream. If he won, they would gain independence, if they lost, L'Manburg would be no longer existent. Tommy lost, however he made a trade with Dream. He would trade both of his discs in exchange for independence, and with that L'Manburg was independent. The Manburg stuff As Wilbur felt his power slipping away, he held a one party election with only himself. However, a new player Quackity saw through him and titled him a dictator, so ran another party to make it fair. Wilburs party would be called "Politicians Of Gaming (POG2020)" and Quackity's "So We Are Gamers (SWAG2020)" They settled some stuff in court then had an election. Another small party joined too called "COCONUT2020", ran by ItsFundy and Nihachu (A new player). As they were saying endorsments, Wilbur endorsed JSchlatt (a "new" player) who then started his own party (SCHLATT2020) and turned into a tyrant. An agreement was made between Quackity and Schlatt that if they lost they would combine their votes with Schlatt president and Quackity Vice president. They then won the election. Schlatts first decree was to banish Tommy and Wilbur forcing them to live in the woods. His second decree was to force the remaining members of L'Manburg to take down the walls. He also renamed it to "Manburg". Tommy and Wilbur began to create a secret nation called "Pogtopia" inside of a ravine. Dream also secretly shipped them gear as he was not a fan of Schlatts rule. Technoblade (a new player and literally the best pvper ever) joined the server to help Pogtopia. Some other people also began to join Pogtopia as they hated his tyranny, and Tubbo agreed to become a spy for Pogtopia. Manburg would then hold a "festival" which Wilbur would use as an opportunity to blow up Manburg, however, this was secretly Tubbos execution as Schlatt knew he was a spy. Technoblade was forced to kill him. Wilbur was also going to explode Manburg but couldnt find the entrance to his secret detonation room. Then, Technoblade (an anarchist, against all government) proceeded to murder everyone, and conflict began to arise. After all of that Pogtoptia met back at their ravine. Most people of Manburg were on Pogtopias side by this point, except Schlatt and Karl Jacobs (another new player). Eret also forfeited his place as king in the Greater Dream SMP to go fight with Pogtopia, as he felt he needed to redeem himself for his betrayal. Schlatt also got Dream to fight with them, as he gave him a secret book that would become VERY important later in the story, a book that i wont spoil :D. War started, and Pogtopia was very quickly winning. Dream also left Schlatts side as he realised it was not worth it as Schlatt didnt even bother to turn up to the war. They all found Schlatt and tried to execute him. But he died of a stroke before anyone could do anything (it was confirmed a stroke, Schlatt said he smelt toast which was the biggest sign of a stroke) he was also cannonically an alchoholic. After all of the conflict, Tubbo took his place as president. However Technoblade shot him once again, as he was an anarchist. Wilbur then proceeded to blow up Manburg, Philza (a new player) joined to try and stop him but it was no use. Even after all that, Technoblade had more business, due to his anarchist character, he unleashed two withers to fully destroy Manburg. This was a very brief summary of all of the events up until this animation, i also recommend watching EvanMCGamings videos for Dream SMP story/lore.

Dang you know I was really confused by how the "listener" character wasn't a jerk to Bee's character right away then slowly warmed, but then I remembered how difficult it is to be mean to someone who's polite. Tip for jerks who're trying to exploit nice people, start out by being a jerk but then apologize and be polite from then on, it's really confusing and it means you never have to face the actual consequences for your actions.
