Both are great. 2408 is brasher, brighter, not in a bad way though. I think either would be great for most people. Biggest thing I noticed olaying both is the neck. Paul's guitar is much heftier, chunkier. Not bad, but if you like thinner and flatter on back necks the 2408 is for you. I ended up buying both.
Pauls guitar all day for sound quality. I also like the wide fat neck it has versus the wide thin neck on the 24-08. You do give up 2 frets, but I'm good with it. I also like the hardtail bridge vs the tremolo bridge setup.
I love the green, massively but not the sounds it puts out. I think the Paul is a clean, sustaining, machine. The 2408 sounds much more brighter and a bit brash at times. It does have some good tones in there but it seems like you gotta find them first.
Thanks for doing this comparison. I know the Paul's has a chunkier neck and just wanted to know what I would be missing if I went with the Custom 24-08. Love that deeper warmer tone on the Paul's SE but that Fat neck is just going to be to big for my hands unfortunately.

What about the bridge? Is pauls guitar like a les paul bridge?
That sustain on Paul's Guitar.... 😮

That neck pick up with gain on Paul’s guitar is super sweeeeet
You just confirmed for me, that it was a good thing I got the Custom 24-08.
Love that green PRS!

They're the same pickups - TCI "S" pickups. However, Paul's guitar has a wraparound bridge and Custom 24 a tremolo bridge.

Yours and mine are the only eriza verde SE 24-08 that have non zebre pickups. I wonder why
Is pauls guitar like a Gibson neck, would u say?
ues
Similar; wider feeling at the nut & wider in the shoulders (bass side & treble side) than Gibson.
아이고...픽업색상이 지브라가 아니네요...ㅠ
