Target is a store that 95% of you guys watching this video might have heard of! It is known for all its merchandise like clothing, electronics, groceries, toys, and household goods all at a lower cost! Not to mention the Target Corporation was found in 1902 (122 years ago!!)
If you look at the original video for the 2002 sponsor, in the end, you’ll notice a silhouette of a certain Canadian someone…you know him, you HATE him!
Yep! This lovely little sponsor was used for the infamous Canadian children’s television series “Caillou”. It originally aired in 1997 on Teletoon in both Canada and France for the first season but then moved to PBS Kids in 2000 for a second season in 2000 and a third season in 2002 as well as a fourth and fifth season in 2006 and 2010. But I think this was only used for the third season.
18 years later, Target returned to sponsor the four original PBS Kids shows Pinkalicious and Peterrific, Wild Kratts, Let’s Go Luna, and Molly of Denali as well as for Thomas and Friends according to the PBS Kids Wiki. But Thomas never aired on PBS Kids in my area during 2020.
