I watched the replay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great info. I got to see you in-person last year in August at a Virginia PPA event. You gave a phenomenal presentation on "Portrait Photography - Create the Difference." I belong to two active local photo clubs, as well as VPPA, and PPA. I am also PPA certified, but I am not a professional photographer. I have no desire to have and operate a business. Thus, getting my CPP was just a personal goal; not aimed at improving my chances of getting clients. My photography work has always been pro bono. Again, fully enjoyed this video and appreciate your work on the Camera Club Directory.
Hi. England watches - well, not live! You start at 11:00PM here which I can't do midweek but catch-up is the way I follow you. Keep this great content up, Joe.
Hi, from Buffalo, Joe. One additional thing I'd add about conferences is that some grade the presentations as far as beginner, advanced, etc. My experience has been that no one is policing the lecture and that the presenter ends up teaching down to the least educated student. Very frustrating, because I have rarely seen (only once, actually) a presenter say to a student that this lecture at this level is not for them. Thanks for keeping it real.
Missing your videos! We hope that you are doing fine, health and career alike. Thanks for the great education and hints, which made by own hobby better, as I hope.
Thank you for the very kind words @ThomasHalways! I am doing great and shooting like crazy. You can still find a lot of new educational content on my website: www.joeedelman.com and my socials. Be sure to follow my Instagram - I have a new lesson series launching there in the next few weeks,
Hi Joe, from Central NC. I keep missing your Wednesday shows, but do my best to watch a rerun. This time I'm watching at 9 AM on Thursday morning. I was in a camera club through Meet-Up before COVID, but it disbanded during COVID. There was never more than 8 showing up at these meetings and some had only 2-3 in attendance. Nothing seems to be available within about 1/2 hour or so drive of here now. I had considered starting one last year to meet here in my studio, at least for the first few meetings, but didn't find anyone interested. The Light Factory in Charlotte (Where you were hosted by Biggs Camera. The Light Factory is where your talk took place back in 2020?). They lost use of their building and moved closer to downtown and it's not the same anymore. I was a member there for a while too, but didn't see a good reason to stay and dropped out at renewal time. Charley
I was here. AZ. I've been in a few groups. Finding the right photography group is like trying to find the right church. Not going to spend my money if you don't have anything to offer and your members are snobs. (OOH, I know that was probably not the best analogy, but it does make ya think. ha ha).
Just found your channel and latest livestream video. Great content. I will certainly keep an eye out for your future livestreams so I can watch live.

I was here, Joe! Hope to catch up with everyone soon.
In my city of ~170,000 people, there appears to be no active camera club. Sad.
