Ive got a 2016 350 excf. 11k miles 310 hours. still on the stock piston. i hit the highways frequently at 90mph+. Valves have stayed in spec since day 1. Bike has given me zero issues. Will be doing a top end rebuild this month. We'll see how the piston looks.
@@1compaqedr8 until now I ADORE it like the lightweight is perfect. I'm not an experienced rider so it really helps me to learn. For sure, I chose this bike because the trails were my priority but I wanted to be legal on the road to travel from a trail to another. So if you want a bike comfortable for the road, it's definitely not a good choice. It really depends on your priorities. But the quality of the product and the experience is worth the 10k$ for me :)
Hi Adam. I'm 1.93m tall and weight 85kg. I'm riding EXC 400 '09 but it's a little bit too heavy for me. I'm riding mostly some woods and trials, but i like riding mx track also. I'm going to buy new bike from dealer but it's hard to chose what bike. I was thinking about EXC 350 or EXC 200/250/300 but i don't know that all of this bikes are good at mx track. I was thinking about going to Regiment 13 in Romania this year. What would U reccomend for me? Maybe i should go with some MX bike?
They really only did it for their own testing purposes to see how they're work help up. Everything was perfect, who knows how long it would have lasted.
No wear in piston and rings, and valves after 50 hours , if there was I wouldn't buy a Ktm so if you ride two hours a day for five days a week so after five weeks you have to strip your engine down , what a load bullocks

audrey pouliot I want a street legal bike to blast full speed on trail rides . How do you like the 250 exc-f? Is it worth nearly $10k?
Georgia Property Depot how far would you ride the 350 exc-f on road to get to a trail? Does it wobble at 90?

Good to see it such good nick after that kind of riding. KTM doesn't deserve the high maintenance parts gobbling reputation.
2 stroke win the race!
The biggest balls win the race lol ktm exc f450 is fast but I'm lacking balls a skillz
I sure love my 2014 500 xc-w! What a great bike! Smoothest transmission I've ever had in a bike. And she just purrs like a big kitten
Good video and commentary, keep them coming.
Good vid need more
Great Video man !
WOW" Im suprised that the valves didnt need any adjustment at all. Perhaps i should forward this onto HONDA LOL
look at the shape of that radiator! i thought mine was twisted lol!
Buying a ktm 350 exc f soon. I won’t bother buying a new one , the 2012 is easily good enough
I would love to know what oil he runs in his four strokes.

Depends on what year. I found the 2015 model for 6400 bucks at a local dealer.

Not really... It's a fairly racy bike. You might be better off with something a little more mild on/off the road for longevity :-)
