The Klangweg is now open! After twenty years of operation, we are revamping the Klangweg to create an even more immersive experience for visitors until spring 2024. Along with refreshing the "Classical Edition," we are delighted to introduce twelve new installations by renowned sound artists. We appreciate your understanding if you miss certain instruments during the "Renovation Year 2023."
The Klangweg spans several stages, beginning from Alp Sellamatt and stretching through Iltios to Oberdorf, all conveniently accessible via the mountain railways. It is the perfect family adventure, offering 24 captivating sound installations. Amidst the Toggenburg region's picturesque mountain scenery, you'll find numerous barbecue spots, mountain restaurants, playgrounds, and an authentic Alpine atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for families with kids. During our visit, we had an absolute blast and loads of fun on this remarkable walk!
