I love how you both find these obscure and not so well known bands to react to. It's great. Thank you. I stumbled onto Babe Ruth on UA-cam a few years ago. The video is great. The singer reminds me of Janis Joplin.
It was me who asked for this album review. I discovered Babe Ruth, as well as many other (lesser known) bands, while browsing the Prog Archive website.
The dog sounds ferocious and they don't know where it's been 😲 It's illegal for a dog to go abt unleashed 🐃 Neat music 🎶 Good reaction 🌸 Hv a wonderful week 🌤️
This is Babe Ruth's take on a 1970 song by American-Canadian musician/singer Jesse Winchester. They changed one part of the lyrics slightly from the original: "I don't know the black dog's name / When I call him, he don't come / How'd I get this black dog / Lord, I never wanted one". Jenny Haan is such an incredible vocalist.

I disagree and I love the theme of this song and yes we all have our own black dog at our side to face this life.
