My ancestors invented Shoddy in 1813, The invention provided tens of thousands of jobs in Birstall, Batley Dewsbury and Huddersfield. Spinning Jenny spinning round turning up and winding down spinning cotton spinning fast i am first and you are last. Skipping rhyme Lancashire cotton mills. Yes i know this is wool but i thought you might like it.
Hi, I'm currently working on a project where i'm re-writing old folk songs and stories about the work songs of the people, for instance the textile factories, mining etc. Would you please allow me use the sound of the gentleman talking and the sounds of the weave in operation in my music. I want to bring the songs alive by using sounds of the industry and I think this would work lovely in my piece. Many Thanks Izzy
