I miss those times, almost all my friends had this game installed, and it was always fun to play no matter the moment. A pity that NEKKI couldn't leave the legacy of this good game. And they made 3 and 4, which for me was a total failure, 3 didn't get so bad over time.
Same, didn't like the realistic graphics. Makes it looks another genertic fighting game. Should have stayed with the 2s art style and further improved it.

@@Man-ee8sn i think we could have had a new storyline and a different graphics. Like for eg: Shadow married May later down the line and they had a kid. We play as a new mc of the future who's very talented. We could say that Shadow trained this mc when he was a kid temporarily.

I like the idea of the previous mc being the villain, but they coulda done better

8: Widow
Petty easy to beat her attacks are are basically no problem to avoid her healing is a bit annoying but a pretty easy one. Though her Weapon is very strong in my Opinion
7: Butcher
Pretty slow with one but with strong attacks. The jumping was easy to avoid. The blood effect was very strong. But I dont like his Weapons
6: Hermit
It was a pretty close one but the Hermit is now on place 6. His Attacks with his swords doesn't really harm you that much and weren't very strong. His Lighting attack was very powerful but easy to avoid. His Swords were okay
5: Lynx:
In the first act were you don't have magic and all this shit, he was a pretty good opponent. The invisibility of him made him very annoying because you don't know how to coordinate on it. The Bomb from the Claws was veeeeerryyyy annoying too. His Claws are amazing
4: Shogun
A very though guy! His Armor often absorbs my attacks. His Swords made some serious damage as well. His assistants make decent damage and I often had problems to dodge them. His Swords are my favourite Weapons in the game!
3: Wasp
I haaaate Wasp so fucking hard. She was a very tough one to beat. Because her Naginta makes good damage. But when he flyes from one corner to the other and she hit me, I often lost it.
2: Titan
Strong guy with very good damage. The fact that magic often doesn't harm him makes it a bit difficult to beat him. When he's grabbing you, you often take decent damage. It's hard to beat him but he's the final boss for reason.
1: The Gates of Shadows
My number one is Shadow vs all 6 Demons at once. This was at least for me a very though one. Not that only you have to beat all of the 6 demons from each act at ONCE. But there is challenge there too. You had to be very lucky.

I agree with most things, but in my opinion Hermit is the hardest. I don't know if this happens to everyone but when I was fighting him, he activated his lighting attack EVERY FUCKING TIME! When I was close to him it was the worst, because his swords was hitting me at light speed, and I was launched to the other side and imediatly hit by a lighting. That took me forever to beat.

Won against wasp in first try also when butcher did critical hit on ne he insantly jumped and did earthquake i think its combo i dont think butcher is easy bc frenzy too also widow is strong bc of teleportation and regen but not really hard also hermits lightning thing is easy to dodge but they introduced magic in pretty cool way also shogun is tough u got that right titan is not that strong if u use frenzy on magic and meele weapon atleast frenzy and damage absorption is good if u fight may or titan those are my opinions.
