LIVING AFTER THE FLESH: If you are water-baptized and have the illusion through incorrect teachings that you have not received the gift of the Holy Spirit (but in fact you have), you could drift back into sin and inevitably live after the flesh. This is no different from waiting for the last bus before the bears come out, not knowing that the bus marked (1Corinthans 12:13, Galatians 5-22-23, and Romans 8:8-9) already came to the bus stop and left you waiting still (TARRYING). Pastor Gino Jennings and thousands of evangelists, ministers, elders and deacons worldwide have it wrong concerning this verse in the context of receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit as opposed to receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, along with the 'Spiritual gift of tongues'. Nowhere in the Bible is it taught to seek the gift of speaking with other tongues; that is blatant heresy (1 Corinthians 12:11). Scripture distinctly repudiates that and stipulates that it is the arbitrary decision of the Spirit to bestow spiritual gifts as it sees necessary to effectively fulfill the great commission. This is a very detrimental doctrine in the 'Body of Christ' and it must cease (Habakkuk 2:14, Ephesians 4:16, 1 Corinthians 13:11). Like the thief on the cross and Saul the chief persecutor of the twelve disciples, when there is contrition followed by repentance, remission and simultaneous baptism by the Holy Spirit takes place producing the 'Initial evidence', the fruit (not fruits) of the Spirit according to (1 Corinthians 12:13 and Galatians 5:22-23). This error was the dilemma of 'Simon the sorcerer'. He was water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ but confused relating to this 'Notable gift' (noticeable). If you are baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and are fully cognizant of the indwelling Spirit, there is absolutely no need to be rebaptized. However, if you are baptized and have not yet received this gift, you ought to consecrate your heart and present yourself at the Market place, there you will receive the gift and possibly several spiritual gifts. New wine is not poured into old, unclean bottles so examine yourself before you make that journey to the Market place to be baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire (Matthew 3:11). A prayer is not even a prerequisite for this baptism, you are going for your gift (Isaiah 65:24, St John 7:37-39, St Luke 11:13). Refer to 'True Christianity and False Religions' for clarity on 'Tongues'.
