- The United States Army receives the first production model of the M10 Mobile Protected Firepower (MPF) combat vehicle has been delivered from the US Department of Defense. Designed as a light tank, the M10 Booker combines the firepower and mobility of a typical Main Battle Tank (MBT), but weighs only 35 tons-much lighter than the 63 ton Abrams M1A2 MBT.

Better have something to combat kamikaze drones, or it's an expensive waste of time.
They mentions active protection systems. If it’s possible to intercept incoming fast-moving projectiles then I imagine they can intercept slow moving drones. Plus, jamming equipment already exists. You just don’t see videos of the many drones that get jammed and crash or get shot down. I’m not saying that we shouldn’t invest in better defenses against drones… but I guarantee that they’re already working on it. There’s literally 0% chance that they aren’t
So what was old is new again. This will make great targets in Ukraine or Russia some day. We totally misread the future war concept. Meanwhile we lose 24k soldiers due to cutbacks. Drones is the way to go. What sort of anti drone tech do these carry? If not, they are just expensive targets. Wow. Just insane.
