You have already made a video on story writing. But please make one more video for "How to get story idea?" OR in other words "How to change real life experience into a story?"
One of the Best example for characters is jigarthanda, both the hero and villain has an arc. Karthi (hero) extabalishing character as budding director and his want is to make a film about real rowdy and need ( internal ) is to become a great director and now will see about his conflicts, his external conflict is to make a film with sethu or else sethu will kill karthi and his internal conflict is " sethu vechu padam panna namma career ae pogirum " and now Karthi has to overcome his conflicts,so Karthi realizes and get to know that he cannot escape from this situation and also cannot do a film with sethu and right there Karthi gets a piece of advice from kurvama kadhai sollum that thatha and in the end Karthi overcome his external conflict successfully by making film with sethu and overcoming his internal conflict by making successful film in theatres and he reached out to audience that Karthi is a good director...so here Karthi's want and need is fulfilled...this is just for Karthi character the interested one is sethu's char. Let me say it in short about sethu char and arc. Sethu is a real life Don and his want and need is same " ellarum avana patha bayam padanum" after meeting Karthi sethu's want is changed to acting in his film as an hero and his small conflicts one producer and two acting teacher is to accept but sethu easily clear those two and finally he acted in the film...
