If anyone gets to sing paint it black it's a Cambodian. The horrors that beautiful people endured because of the Americans is just monstrous. Yanks overthrew King Sihanouk for a brutal fascist. Then Pol Pot and hon sen lead the revolution against the inept and brutal American favourite a traitor to king Sihanouk and the Cambodian people. Hon sen switched sides early enough not to be placed in cahoots with the whole bloody regime. Now he has one of his own. He stepped down, but his son has been groomed for his spot. And like all the Army brats of his generation -sons of generals etc -, he could shoot someone in the face in front of a club full of witnesses and get away with it. I saw that happen (the son of a general murdered another young man) while I was there. One of the general's sons shot some poor fool out front of a club over a moto parking space and wasn't even questioned. Yeah, after the undexploded ordinance (dropped by the US) was left in Cambodia, THE POL POT regime was not overthrown by the yanks, because they saw it fit punishment for Cambodia and Lao refusing to take sides during America's rape of Indochina. And there were no assets valuable enough for "the leader of the free world" to be bothered helping Cambodia. Cambodia's enemy, Vietnamese army was responsible for freeing the only (7 of thousands to go in) people to make it out of S7 (sol Treng, the primary school that was converted into a sadistic torture chamber), so I think Cambodians have the most cause to sing paint it black.
It wasn't that long ago that garment workers held a peaceful rally at "democracy square" (constructed after Pol Pot's regime for the people to express themselves) in Phnom Penh and were beaten and shot for asking for better pay and working conditions. That is the work of Hon Sen. If you are an Australian working for the government, you should be more than ashamed of the dirty deals you have been making with Hon Sen... And now his playboy, sociopath son.

@@kadenleonard1439😂 what are you on 😊? Do you know the history and culture of Cambodia? Do you know the history Chile? The Americans painted everyone blood red. Nothing to do with pipes of any thing.
Do you disagree that Cambodian culture is beautiful and that it has been traumatised by modern history.

First the Americans overthrew the King Sihanouk for not joining the war, while dropping bombs and land mines on Cambodia and Laos as punishment for their neutrality, which is why they paid a general for a fascist coup against the good king Sihanouk. As a result, Pol Pot stepped in to overthrow the traitorous, incompetent brutal brutal fascist general. Then Pol Pot turned the country into a bloodbath. The yanks turned a blind eye to the horror they set in motion. More punishment by non-intervention, suddenly NOT interested in "freedom" for the Cambodians.
Then the next Tyrant, hon sen (ex-khmer Rouge) who had police beat and shoot garment workers peacefully protesting for less horrific, more safe conditions at work and a decent wage in DEMOCRACY SQUARE, built after the oppressive, bloody, Khmer Rouge fell, so people had a place to peacefully protest in safety.
What happened to the garment workers only recently under the command of Hun Sen was horrific and tragic, but compared to the Kent State shooting massacre of peaceful protesters IN THE US by the NATIONAL GUARD in the 60s was far less brutal. And no one was charged for it.
Hypocritical US... Everywhere they go they paint it all black.
