Debi, I’m pretty sure that we will all watch any videos you put up for us!!! You & your family are amazing!!! Dad has come a long way, it’s great to see him embracing your thrifted style & way of design!!! And Danielle too!!! The way she crafted right along side you during the world-wide shut down, but she doesn’t like to craft & isn’t the biggest fan of painting, is a testament to a family’s love!!! Thanks to you and your family inviting us into their homes, enjoying the videos and would be fun to be able to journey with you on spending some time on your own home. You deserve it! One note, what about using a L bracket and putting it on the window wall and drilling it into the wall & the window shelf, then just painting it. Or find a cute L style bracket & do the same. Just a suggestion! Always enjoy going thrifting at Kobes with you & who ever you bring along too!

I just discovered your channel, I love what you are doing with your Sisters beach cottage, I love watching how other people design and use their space and how they find their decor items for their home. Flea markets and thrift shopping is how I decorated my entire home. It's shabby chic but the end is still the same, it's a labor of love decorated with all the things I love. Keep it up. I would love to see your channel as you work on your own home. I'm here for it.

IKEA has ceiling brackets. The curtains can go all the way to the top. Makes the walls look higher.

I was in San Diego twice in my life visiting a friend and it was really pretty there. We went on Mission Beach because her first apartment was right on the beach. I drank my coffee looking at the ocean. What a treat. Her second apart was up further but I walked down to the beach. I was quite a walk but back then I could do that. That was in the 70's and 80's. I haven't been back there since and my friend has since passed away. I think I may have been to that swap meet. We did go to one and it was big and I got some neat things there.

Oh I love your great ideas you were doing such a wonderful job on her beach cottage just to tell you I have a beach cottage here in Hailey, Idaho. Being a southern California girl. I had to bring the California beach to my Idaho home. Keep up the great ideas.
Just ordered the book...girl you inspire...was just scheming on paint colors for my front and side door in my 1946 bungalow and this cinches it, Mermaid Tail...this 73ish Florida Bohemian is obsessed with this style AND COLOR, just a 30 minute drive to the beach, I still have the beachy obsession...my style: Boho tiki Gothic maximalist=more is more...then when I tire of it, it goes into our shop...life is good in my tiny storage unit for the shop...lol...!
