We’ve come so far since the 2015 launch of the first 3Doodler, not only improving our product but moving the entire 3D Printing Pen industry forward.
When we first launched the 3Doodler we asked the world to imagine a pen that could literally draw in the air.
Two years since the first launch, we’ve made the world’s first 3D printing pen even better, with a new and improved version that’s slimmer, lighter, quieter, and even easier to use.
The 3Doodler heats, then rapidly cool plastic, allowing instant 3D creation; and with no software or computers, the possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
To date, we’ve shipped sold over 1,000,000 3Doodler pens; and our community has used them to create amazing things: from jewelry to RC planes, fully 3Doodled dresses, architectural models, and even writing braille!
To help kickstart creativity in the classroom we’ve created a special educational bundle - complete with pens, plastic, accessories, and curricular materials - which you can send to any school, library or maker space of your choosing.

NOTICE- you CAN draw up in the air but you must hold the pen up in the air for 5-10 seconds.
The video is SPED UP.
It's 3sec for ABS 6 sec for PLA. Hold and pause as you draw up, count to 3. If you practice you can get even better at drawing in the air and know when the plastic has hardened.

as long as you mentioned the website www.the3doodler.com and that it's the 3Doodler. also not a note but this is our 2.0 version we are now on Create+ 3 generations later but the Create+ looks very similar dose all the same stuff but better. You might want to look at some of those videos as well.

please reach out to help@the3doodler.com Please let us know what pen you are using, and a bit more detail about what steps you are taking. Did you start the pen first and then put the plastic in the pen and push it in so that its in the gears? We have more videos on as well that might help. Or you can try and go to our website www.the3doodler.com and check out the getting started section learn.the3doodler.com/getting-started/ it has lots of tip and tricks as well.
