First you need to have cake view to bake the mod files. it's a paid tool. you can find it on / posts
once downloaded, copy the cakehook plugins to game folder

I noticed that is was only 10 placeholder slot so does that mean only 10 extra characters are able to be added? If so is there a way to add more than 10? Thank you for this tutorial!!!!!

4 for extra characters and 10 for extra gfx slots. More slots would be unlocked after placeholder updates soon

The placeholder 4 slot is named as Karrion Kross 24'...the SBDeditor does not have string named as Karrion Kross 24'. I have changed and baked the sdb but the name is still karrion kross 24'. Is there any solution for this?

Also I wanted to know if 2k23 mods work on 2k24? I tried installing malakai black 2k23 mod by joemashups in 2k24 but the game crashes whenever I try to play as malakai black

Do you have any mods? If yes, remove them and check or you can verify game files via steam. Hard to say anything. Share game directory on my discord. Link in channel bio

@@monkold_ the only mods I have we’re for music no character mods. I verified the file integrity like 4 times that’s didn’t work. I even deleted & reinstalled the game. Idk what happened it was working fine up until the CM punk dlc came out
