That looks like about the size of a gong-type floor tom I probably wont ever afford, but love it to bits anyway. However, If you have any advice At All on Snare Drum Bearing edges (for max sensitivity and attack), OH PLEASE SHARE!!! Lol... Can't find Jack on this subject and have a bare 5.5" x 14 Maple/Mahogany/Maple shell waiting for me to do the magic. Thank you please thank you. :)

How about using a router table and a granite table to check with a light that will be the absolute sure way of knowing whether it's flat
Sir, his fingers are obviously calibrated and way more accurate than something archaic like a granite table and light source. :D
