from a driver prespective….. my left leg (clutch) hurts when I drive for a day …that’s even only a car…..but if u look at a bus the pressure that we have to apply for a bus clutch is to be higher and is moderately harder…..so they do change gear without clutch when they are tired….yes obviously it will affect the gear box but what to do….my mama is a mtc chennai bus driver….he’s both leg soul got blisters (koppalam)…and heat coming out in the drivers area is causing many body problem to him…..

Clutch less up shift is possible once you pick up speed after 2nd or 3rd gear.. but we have to practice it.. there are lots of videos how to shift clutch less without quick shifter... but clutch less down shifting is very bad for the gear box.. 💯
When your current gear rpm is low enough, then you can downshift, if high rpm, then the engine over rev and sometimes engine may damage and you can smell oil from engine
You should blip the throttle during downshift (only use it when the engine is not in high rpm and in emergency situations)

company recommend that you can change 3 , 4 gear without clutch. read user manual which come with your bike. use cultch for 1 ,2 gear.

Thats why they've introduced slipper clutch and quickshifter. Slipper clutch helps in clutch less downshifting and quickshifter helps in clutchless upshifting gears.

Alternate shift automatic sensor mechanism bro. It sense high to low throttle and gives data to ECU, then engine torque auto managed with speed by ECU signal

There is no issue with speed of gearbox, wheel and engine. It is just the torque difference.
So when you are shifting there should be 0 or close to 0 torque difference between engine and clutch shaft.

In my bike no clutch... Only gear.. Very smooth ride, good mileage and normal pickup.. 50,000+ kms driven..

It's called clutch-less shifting, competitively easy to upshift than downshifts
BUT needs to be done perfectly.
ONLY IN BIKES, as it has sequential gear pattern.
As we put pressure on shifter and alter the engine rpm, at one point the rev of engine and load (wheel) matches and the next gear slots into position. But but but do it only if you feel connected to bike (engine). Practice

There is a method to perform clutchless shifting on bikes and you should always release the rigger slightly when upshifting to higher gears and when downshifting rev more this helps prevent gearbox failure and reduces strain on the engine and gearbox

Upshifting la 3-4 and 4-5 gear shifting la 6.5k rpm mela bike iruka apo clutch pidikama gear change pannalam. Problem varadhu. That is quick shifting for bikes without quick shifter.
Dai, higher rpm la clutch pidikama gear change panna gear box poidum da, medium or low rpm la than clutch pidikama gear change pannalam because in low rpm, the wheel speed matches the gear speed from the engine,so no problem

I am using tvs apache 150ccbike from 2005...still i m using the same gear box.. I will use clutch only start and stop.... 1.6lackm crossed..... I changed clutch 3 times only.....we need to change gear while reduce accelrator only... Due to sudden accelarator drop centrifugal force little bit act on clutch, that time we nwed to change gear.. This Will cime by practise easily
