5 Go up to Borrowdale | Part two | Fell scrambling & wild swimming

This was such an awesome weekend of adventuring! 5 girl friends headed off to the Lake District for a couple of days of mountain biking, Wainwright hill climbing and wild swimming in lakes and rivers.
In part one two we tackle two Wainwright fells - Eagle Crag and Sergeant's Crag. On our way back down we dipped in the waterfalls and fairy pools.
The final morning of our trip was spent swimming 2km in Derwentwater.

Grand wee video, I'm impressed with the route you took up Eagle Crag and the quality of the filming considering the steep slopes. That was some swimming at the end, which makes me think you and your friends are triathletes or simliar. Thanks Big Dave! Yes, you are right, we are triathletes but more recently have done more of this sort of ‘adventuring’ - Except for Louise who is doing lots of racing and just came 3rd in the world in her age group at the Xterra off road triathlons in Italy! 😱

Hi there. I have just come across your channel and subscribed. I look forward to watching some more of your adventures. Loved this one, there is nothing wrong with a little bit of off piste hiking every now and then! Haha
I have yet to do Eagle Crag, it does seem that everyone finds navigation a bit of a struggle on the first part. If you are interested I do have my own channel where I upload my routes with photos and videos. All the best Dave
