As soon as a chick eats, the fecal sack comes immediately after in most cases. The parents either eats with it, or fly away with it. With only a Chile of babies it seems easier to tell which chick was fed, but I've seen videos with 4+ babies and the parents will feed a couple babies several times before getting more food for the others. Even then sometimes the other chicks still gets overlooked alot. Sad. 😩

Did you notice that whenever the parent brings in food they first stick it inside their chicks' throats to see whose craw is empty or full and decides to give it to the offspring whose crop/craw is empty. The moment the chick swallows the food it will excrete its feces which the parent bird will readily eat. A treat for a treat...
Omg how terribly sad, my heart was breaking for that baby bird, I cannot understand why the Eagle or hawk didn't eat something else rather than another bird of a different species. Nature is so cruel & humans don't have to be, but many are & so the world will always be a sad place as it always has been. I've seen a bigger yellow ratsnake in people's gardens in the middle of a town. It scaled a wall easy enough to get away from humans.

BulBul babies can craft their own nests if needed, they can cry out to the parents after they craft it. Even the one bit by the snake can survive, they are resilient. I read this in a PC Game magazine.
From the way the snake moved with haste and purpose to the spot where the two fledglings jumped off to, may mean that none of the baby birds survived this ordeal

No matter where the snake went they didn’t survive. Either the fall killed them or other predators. They weren’t ready to fly / leave the nest, this was 200% their demise.

There are many videos in which the birds keep in the nest even though a predator came, because they can´t fly. This is not the case. Birds grow quickly, precisely due to this. The are in branches around and the parents keep feeding them. I suggest you watch less computer and more natural life, you can see the real things.

This is precisely why I despise snakes! That was a coward act. Any animal or reptile that would eat a baby instead of a adult food source is a cowardly act. I think if I ever seen something like that was about to happen, I would torture that snake before I would kill it! We can do without snakes we don’t need them. Some birds may leave the nest and parents continue to feed them as they will be nearby, but we'll never know about the other 2 birds here.
Yeah same thing happened in my yard. The baby birds flew away too early and the parents were still feeding them. So the birds probably were ok

Did you notice that whenever the parent brings in food they first stick it inside their chicks' throats to see whose craw is empty or full and decides to give it to the offspring whose crop/craw is empty. The moment the chick swallows the food it will excrete its feces which the parent bird will readily eat. A treat for a treat...

Omg how terribly sad, my heart was breaking for that baby bird, I cannot understand why the Eagle or hawk didn't eat something else rather than another bird of a different species. Nature is so cruel & humans don't have to be, but many are & so the world will always be a sad place as it always has been. I just wish God created world different so that all living beings both animals & humans eat plants & vegetables from the land & everything gets to live without pain & grow old. How I dream.
