Thank you, Don. I am an American Vietnam Era Navy Veteran of 2 enlistments. I was drafted out of high school in 1973 and joined the Navy to keep from being a Ground-Pounder Army Grunt (and dying) in Vietnam. I'll check out their stock and compare prices. Another place I shop is The Exchange online. The Exchange is an On-Base/On-Station/On-Ship store for those presently serving, and now Veterans can shop there online with proof of service (DD-214 exit papers). The prices were nicely discounted back then, but now we just get Zero Sales Tax. 10% Off at Discount Online Parts will basically pay the Sales Tax for my State. If their parts are actually discounted, they'll have a new customer for sure.
Great people ! -- Easy to talk to -- Every order was complete, correct and concise ! ---- They take time to listen to you -- no rushing -- Hope Ellen is still there --
It's ridiculous how Canada gets ripped on shipping. For instance garage door insulation kit that sells for $175 in US and free shipping, here it cost me $670. Totally unacceptable. Cheers
This is a Timely video, Don. 😃👍 I've ordered parts from them in the past, and they were Highly Reliable ! 😉 I just got shorted on 2 different parts orders last week, and both orders were critical... 😖 Sometimes it's best to stick with the Folks you can Count On. Sure wish I'd remembered that Now !!! 😣
I placed an online order a few years ago when you were pushing their chainsaw top ends. Three days later I get an email saying it's not in stock. You better call before you order.
Great video! WOW!! i live in the u.s.a. and i Love to support Veterans in anyway that i can. i will be checking their site out right after i type this comment to you. :)
Thanks Don, but I would really love to see a video of you taking a tour boat ride on Lake Muskoka. That seems like you had a beautiful Sunday for that!
I have used DoP several times and had great service. They have a lot of Oregon parts and a good line of replacement carbs. Why do Canadians have to pay duties when we have NAFTA? Free trade should mean free trade, it's time for NAFTA to apply to individuals not just corporations to make a profit.
Do you have a good number for the Briggs & Stratton valve cover gasket? I thought they came that way (with a gasket) from the factory, but this latest one was sealed with some sort of sealant, which made it a pain to get off and is also a pain to clean.
They do not respond to requests. I emailed them twice and called twice to cancel an order. They didn’t respond and shipped the order anyway. I’ve tried to contact them since with no response. I will not order from them again!
I have ordered parts from them 2 weeks and have not received any shipping notice despite my PayPal being billed. I have called and left message and also sent emails without any response. Would not recommend this company at all.
www.discountonlineparts.com has been greatly affected by Hurricane Helene. If you have ordered parts you can expect a delay.
As a veteran myself, I always support veteran old businesses.
Once again, Dony shows he is a good person I. This video. Standing up for a Veteran owned business. You are a classy person, Dony. 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Is it possible to do a video on where you get schematics and part numbers for various units as it's sometimes hard to find. Tks
👍great video
Were they impacted by the historic flooding? They are located in that general region.
I think they were ok.
@@donyboy73Ok, good. Website wasn’t working.
Pas sûr que l'électricité soit revenu en service dans toutes ces zones!
I just wondering if they will have parts for a John deere
Sweet ! 😃👍

As a Canadian, isn't it easier to order in Canada?
Yes it can be.
@@donyboy73 any store you would recommend in Canada?

What are they Veterans of?
It's a shame that Candians gets screwed with shipping, we are no different than the Americans.

I am sorry to hear this, i will call them to let them know. They were totally flooded a few months ago including their hospital.
