    First of all, well done on covering this. And well done on having Tony Ortega on. I was a Scientologist for about three years, and what I've learned since leaving has made all the difference in my life. NEVER TRUST A SCIENTOLOGIST. Their primary loyalty is to a second-rate science fiction author who, they think, "figured everything out". They literally think that Hubbard was superior to Christ himself. Kind of funny if you think about it, since Jesus never charged anyone MONEY for the miracles He performed. Hubbard was NOT a good guy. Someone said that the internet was Scientology's "Waterloo". One can only hope, since they've had decades to destroy people's lives.

    • @robertmiller32
      @robertmiller32 2 роки тому

      That's hilarious first you blast scientology for their ridiculous beliefs then you go on to embrace Christianity which is just as ridiculous. As for Christ never asking for money LMAO you have apparently never been to a church because somehow god is all powerful all knowing and all seeing yet he cannot seem to balance a check book because they are always asking for money. Here's a little advice all religions are scams to control weak minded people.

I took some “tests” they called audits?. Well I guess they really really liked me, The person doing the testing, left the room, and i was left alone for a bit. I overheard them talking about getting me a room and some other stuff. I saw from the cracked open door a few vacant eyed people in robes or some such, ambling down the hallway and my red flags screamed at me to run. I did.

      Yes. One of the 3 women claimed she took a pill he offered her, went to sleep, and assumed later on he had defiled her while she was passed out. Not sure how a grand jury moved forward with that. Another of the 3 was his girlfriend at the time of the alleged incident and continued to date him for some time afterwards.

      @@ykook7000 no. It's easy for someone to repeat something they've heard and say it happened to them too. Or even for someone to recruit other women he's had contact with, as in the Marilyn Manson case (allegedly). That's what makes these cases complicated. Tangible evidence is often lacking and- despite what we'd like to believe- it isn't uncommon for men to be falsely accused. This is especially true when definitions have kind of been altered or solidified between the incident and accusation of prosecution. The emphasis on consent just wasn't as strong 20 or 25 years ago as it is now. There are many factors

    Highly, highly unlikable!
    It always just seemed like the real Danny was seeping through more and more in the character that he was supposed to play. So glad his career stalled out and he never had any real success after that 70s show ended. Bc if he had been a major motion picture star, there's always the likelihood of him never being convicted and this all being swept under the rug! Justice for his victims!

      @Annon_28 I suppose I should've said that I was referring to the box set behind the scenes version of the show.
      I watched a lot of interviews with him and he was smug and arrogant. Plus, he influenced his character and his lines more than anyone else. Down to the way he treated "Jackie" (Mila Kunis.) So yes, I do believe his real self was shining through that character.
