This is a wild ride of an episode. From the actor to their beliefs to a church’s involvement to its leader being in hiding. I didn’t expect what anything was gonna be said next.
David Miscavige (the cult’s leader) isn’t in hiding, his wife Shelly hasn’t been seen by anyone since like 2008 but they claim she’s absolutely fine. Scientology is honestly one of the most insane things I’ve ever researched and I highly recommend going down that rabbit hole sometime. If you thought this video had twists and turns, you’ll be shocked by that church’s dirty laundry. I recommend Scientology and The Aftermath with Leah Remini for some truly bizarre and heartbreaking stuff. Including some about Danny Masterson and his victims.

@@samtalkstoomuch8854 First of all, the word Creep is used FAR too often. Imma start with Deshaun Watson. He hired women 10-20X their normal rates to fly out to him, put them up in 5 Star Hotels under the guise of "massages," and MANY of them were not even masseuses. He was trying to get laid. It was obvious. Women have agency, they can use it. Being in the room with a "big strong man," is NOT a reason to not say No. On the other hand, he reportedly touched and groped a couple women who DID say no. One is illegal, the other is...I guess creepy, but it's really just high class tinder.
They don't punish him just the women they have to pay lots of money according to the rules of the scientology. According to a ex member that is a friend of mine. If the allegations are true then they will come out in court. And if so Danny Masterson should be buried under the jail. and isn’t it remarkable that the church of Scientology persecuted these women, and also extorted them and tried to keep them quiet. Talk about heinous behavior!

How brave of these women to try to falsely accuse a man 20 years later after this supposedly happened. I’m all about justices when deserved but none of this adds up. All the stories are the same, they’re being threatened by the church even though their names haven’t been released? Waiting 20 years guarantees no evidence is available. So they can’t prove that he didn’t do it. None of it just seems true. When you look at other cases like the Matt araiza case that just happened, victim reported it the next day, eye witness, pictures of bruising everywhere, it’s VERY likely the victim is telling the truth. This case seems like an absolute witch hunt and to take masterson away from his kids and wife with no evidence isn’t okay. Simple as that

It’s really weird how on that 70s show his character was a bit of a creep and now it may be actually true (since 2020). Oh and speaking of that year, does anyone think the reason why Netflix took That 70s Show off Netflix in 2020 is because the first allegations or trails (idk the full story) of Danny actually happened in the same year? Like isn’t it weird that they’re doing That 90s Show and it’s gonna be on Netflix, even thought the original show isn’t even on there and Danny won’t be apart of the new spin off show?

Yes. One of the 3 women claimed she took a pill he offered her, went to sleep, and assumed later on he had defiled her while she was passed out. Not sure how a grand jury moved forward with that. Or even for someone to recruit other women he's had contact with, as in the Marilyn Manson case (allegedly). That's what makes these cases complicated. Tangible evidence is often lacking and- despite what we'd like to believe- it isn't uncommon for men to be falsely accused. @Sound Money Shelly is missing.
@Annon_28 sadly I think you're right.
This is a wild ride of an episode. From the actor to their beliefs to a church’s involvement to its leader being in hiding. I didn’t expect what anything was gonna be said next.
And don't forget the ad for Manscape😂
Correction, the leader is not in hiding, it's his wife who's disappeared from the public view for the past ten years or so.
@@xoxolovechristielynn I watched the Leah Remini show for a few seasons (her first I believe). I've heard stories about them, as my former supervisor's late brother was a high ranking member for a number of years, but left for reasons I that I don't recall. I do know that he used to give informal talks about his time there.
His name is John Rafanello and there's about 3 dozen videos of him on YT.
Leah's show was outstanding!! ♡
I also follow Aaron Smith-Levin's fantastic channel, "Growing Up In Scientology". He keeps up with all of the current b.s. from the cult.
Scientology has less than two months to get a juror in there.
LOL...hilarious, but...not actually.
By the way, do people believe he did this? What I mean to say(I could just look into it I suppose)...but is this a case where people already know like with Harvey or is this one where he MAY be innocent?
@@scourge8097 unclear. HW being a creep was an open secret. I haven't come across anything like that in this case so far. I'm hoping to hear fair reporting of the trial. I'm a Danny fan so I don't want it to be true but there seems to be a lot against him
@@samtalkstoomuch8854 First of all, the word Creep is used FAR too often.
Who's male the reason he left was they kept giving him charges that wasn't validated so he left and then was stalked and threatened as usual everything that Leah wrote about is true and she even kept it real.

If the allegations are true then they will come out in court. And if so Danny Masterson should be buried under the jail. and isn’t it remarkable that the church of Scientology persecuted these women, and also extorted them and tried to keep them quiet. Talk about heinous behavior!
That's one thing this cult is wonderful at doing. Taking people's voices, destroying their lives as well.
Why did these women wait 15 plus years to press charges ?

How likely is it that Scientology gets jurors on the panel? Can that be reviewed by the legal teams when picking a jury?
It can be argued that’s relevant and they would ask that when picking the jury. But, Scientologist would most likely lie.

Waiting 20 years guarantees no evidence is available. So they can’t prove that he didn’t do it. None of it just seems true.

Yes. One of the 3 women claimed she took a pill he offered her, went to sleep, and assumed later on he had defiled her while she was passed out. Not sure how a grand jury moved forward with that. Tangible evidence is often lacking and- despite what we'd like to believe- it isn't uncommon for men to be falsely accused.
