For 2022 I am hoping to get a job. After spending most of my adult life building and running 2 small companies, I lost both of them in June because of Covid restrictions. I have always worked hard and done pretty well but it's been a humbling experience trying to find jobs. I must have applied to over 100 jobs in the last 6 months without even a reply to say thanks for applying or anything. It broke me mentally but I have learned to appreciate my wife even more and am grateful for my friends and family's health.

After finding this channel in 2020 I have felt a lot better about human progress, opposed to most sources which only talk about the worst things happening at the time, this channel is breath of fresh air and optimism.
A highlight of my year has been finding your channel, not going to lie. I haven’t been doing good mentally but there’s something about your energy that immediately puts a smile on my face whenever I’m not feeling it. Thank you for everything you do, I hope you have a happy new year, Joe!
Hang in there 👻iie. It's been tough for billions. There is a video on UA-cam called "Jordon Peterson - advice for people with depression" by a channel called bite-sized philosophy. That really got me through some tough times. I'm not trying to push a JP narrative or anything here - but there is a point made along the lines of 'sadness and dispare are often a result our realities not matching our expectations'. I hope that helps and that the video helps you in some way. Just remember you are an amazing person capable of giving the world so much love and also capable of receiving love too
I'd say that overall 2021, for all of it's issues and problems, was categorically better than 2020. While that's not saying a lot, we did get to spend the holidays with our families, go out to eat, and go into the office/school occasionally. Here's to a hopeful 2022!

But if you ever do decide to continue the Clones, in a semi-arc that doesn't need to be fully connected each episode, I know myself and many others would be so appreciative of that work But if that's just to much, maybe one day you could make a "movie" side project of the Joe Clones, whether you release it on UA-cam as a short film, or even release a paid digital short film we could buy for a few dollars. Have you been seeing the news on the Thwaites Glacier? I’ve been reading it’s going to break up and enter the ocean in the next few years, leading to a 1-2ft sea level rise (with potential for up to 18ft in cascading chain reactions some sources claim) What I’m curious about, is how does that sea level change propagate. Like how long will it take sea levels in the northern hemisphere to respond, will the increase be evenly distributed etc.?
Each and every time you spin around in your chair at the intro, à la Dr. Evil in an Austin Powers movie, I rejoice. You have made a fun movie trope your own. My thanks for your videos of the past year. Health and prosperity to you and yours in the New Year. 👍
Thank you for making the rest of my week, this past year, eye-opening. I always learn something fascinating from your videos & sometimes some of it even sticks!
Thanks for another year! It’s currently-40f outside here so my dogs and I are going to huddle up and rewatch some of this year’s videos. Love you, Joe.
Mysterious is great, but I hope you don't veer too dark too often. Not because the world isn't ending on 7 different fronts (it's more like 29), but because there's a ton of other clickbait "true crime/horrible humans doing horrible things" channels on here. You actually do a lot of stories that show how we do at least have the potential and ability to pull out of our tailspin(s) if we so choose. I approve, if only to be reminded that the indifferent universe isn't to blame...this time!
Quite a long year, wasn't it. And a long ride aside you over the last years, thank you for that fantastic time. Happy holidays, new year and best regards.
Thanks for the highlights and love the channel. One missed item was the first Space X launch with the two astronauts. I got to witness it from our state emergency operations center here in Florida. Freaking amazing on the four mission control big screens.
The Xenobots can actually be a good thing, they can be used to clean up plastic in the ocean and be used as food for astronauts in Space Stations, The Moon, and Mars.
Congrats on all success. No, thank you Joe! You’ve been an anchor for many of us this year. I was in lockdown in Australia for months with only my dog for company. We’re both big fans lol.
Thanks Joe, you and your team always deliver. Enjoy the well deserved break but please come back in 2022. ALSO, can we PLEASE have an episode where you explain the items on your shelves behind you? I also have a similar shelf and I/We would love to know why these things are important to you. PLEASE...?

It might be because the sky crane didn’t take off from Mars’ surface.
Thank you for sharing knowledge in a funny and light way. You really made a difference this year.
I overestimated how bad 2020 was until 2021 drew it's belt out
@@Stevie-J "haha lol people are struggling and having difficulties! babies!"
Idiots.
Each and every time you spin around in your chair at the intro, à la Dr. Evil in an Austin Powers movie, I rejoice. You have made a fun movie trope your own. My thanks for your videos of the past year. Health and prosperity to you and yours in the New Year. 👍
The Parker Solar probe that 'touched' the Sun.
Thank you for making the rest of my week, this past year, eye-opening. I always learn something fascinating from your videos & sometimes some of it even sticks!
At least James Webb made it to space! 😆
I agree, and I'm sure it's draining to do too many of those videos back to back when it's not your primary interest.
Thank you Joe! Get some rest, take it easy! And happy New Year!
Quite a long year, wasn't it. And a long ride aside you over the last years, thank you for that fantastic time.
Happy holidays, new year and best regards.
I don't think so. I know each year that passes is a shorter percentage of my life overall, but 2021 flew for me. Can't believe it's actually over.
Indeed, because there's absolutely zero probability they can go rogue, mutate and proliferate.

Thanks Joe, and your team- truly appreciated! Keep it up ole chap!
First
you are in fact, first
Congrats on all success. Call your parents and let them know that all that money you spent on getting your masters in art history gave you the free time to click refresh on Joe's channel so you would have the chance to be the first to leave an insightful comment based on the content. Oh wait, I forgot, you just wanted to write.... 'first'. Clever.
@@nathangoddard8115 It's really not that serious.. 😆
I subscribed last week... And I am glad I did.
