- Yes, that's true 16 bit. The music is synthesized by sound chips YM2612 and SN76489, which are used in SEGA MegaDrive/SEGA Genesis. And it has polyphony equaled 9 (i.e. 10 notes and more can't sound simultaneously).

Amazing work that sort of surpasses the original fr. The breakdown of sorts at 0:52 and at the very end are genuinely breath taking, its hard to believe something that good sounding can come from a genesis.

You’re right, but people don’t really care, and so am I.
We have a tendency to call everything that has to do with Genesis as ‘16-bit’ (even though its main processor M68K is a 32-bit microprocessor). There’s not much of a logic, but it’s convenient to use.
@@STD282 Fair enough. I just thought I'd point that out before anyone else complained big time. This is a pretty good rendition in my opinion, and I look for "Genesis" as "16-bit" so yeah, makes sense why this would be labelled 16 bit.
(Not totally sure why they called it 16 bit considering you're right, the 68K is a 32 bit MP.)

This has literally been made through Genesis chips. What do you mean?
Genesis has 16-bit sound chips (SNES also has 16-bit sound chips, but the Genesis sound chip version is what interests us here), so we are confused whether the real one was super FNAF (SNES/PC) or this version (Mega Drive/Genesis)
