Great video, I'm glad it's not just us! National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation is a must for us, lots of nostalgia for me. My first trip was in 97 when I was 15. Austin Powers has great scenes of the strip and casinos that are no longer
Loved this concept for a video. Well done! I have a few more movies I thought of to add… 1. What happens in Vegas 2. Miss congeniality 2 3. Saved by the bell: wedding in Las Vegas
What Happens in Vegas we did touch on briefly at Planet Hollywood but since so much of it takes place outside of Vegas we didn’t feature it like we did 21. Nice call on the other two!
They filmed a Jason Bourne movie in Aria as well… drove a motorcycle through the high roller area. Casino is one of my favorite movies, had no clue they filmed that scene at Main Street.
@@JoshRachael Yes, that's the name. My husband I live in Vegas and we were able to be extras in the movie...for about 5 seconds! LOL It was a fun experience. The chase scenes are pretty amazing...inaccurate, but amazing. Haha.
Good watch y’all 🤘🤘… the Mirage Vegas Vacation scenes are always the best for me because I was there when they were filming it. Saw Chevy Chase playing blackjack but couldn’t say hello… #Underage Gambling 🤣🤣
I was in Vegas when they filmed Con Air...saw them when they did the scene of plane crashing into the entrance. Also big movie flop Destiny turns on the radio with Jim Belushi in front of the Stardust. Got my picture taken with him. Thanks for all the movie memories.
GREAT VIDEO!!! We watch Vegas movies and Vlogs before our trips. We stayed at the Bellagio in February when Mark Wahlberg was filming movie scenes in front of the fountain.
Love your videos! You guys are two of our favorite Las Vegas vloggers. My favorite movie that featured Las Vegas is “Diamonds Are Forever” with Sean Connery as James Bond. It’s like a Vegas Time Machine going back to the late 60’s. Circus Circus, Westgate, and especially the old downtown are featured!
Just discovered your very informative channel. My very first trip to Vegas in '83 was to work at my employer's booth at a computer convention. Was so thrilled to see dearly departed David McCallum filming Return of the Man From U.N.C,L.E. at Caesar's. Cheers!
Great video! Totally true about the Main Street scene, is way more iconic than the Oscar's scene. But back to the Plaza tho. I feel like you let one slip by. Cool world is a sneaky good vegas movie. Lots of downtown action.
Great fun and original video, you guys! Also in "Casino", Nicky's restaurant is shot a lot inside and out of Piero's Restaurant which is still there slightly off strip. You should try it your next trip. It's old school and a lot of fun!
Thanks so much! I use Movavi to edit. I made the movie clips the main video then I found an old TV 📺 picture I liked, removed the tube portion and then set the background to transparent and saved as a png, then put that in the foreground. Hope that all makes sense
@@JoshRachael It does make sense! Movavi removes the background? Do you know how to remove backgrounds of videos? For example: if you guys were talking and wanted to have a background of UK, what would you use? Thank you so much in advance!!
@@YouUsAndAI Yes it does remove the background. We haven't used it much but you can see an example of it on our Flight Club video from a few months back. We used it and put a walkthrough type video behind us. It is not the most advanced program but it is what I (Josh) started with and feel most comfortable with. Are you starting a channel?
@@JoshRachael Oh neat - I'm going to get it then!! Thank you!! No, well, not like yours...I went to school for film MANY years ago, and am doing animation ones...but not like yours...I can't do yours as you guys have a creative way of doing them, as well as so personable!!! :) :)
What a fun project! I was actually in Planet Hollywood while they filmed a scene of Escape to Witch Mountain with Duane Johnson The Rock. It was so fun and exciting to see that unfold unexpectedly! Love you guys!
@@JoshRachael Awe it's mainly for kids and was a remake from the 60s. It's ok I guess. I watched to see if I could see myself sitting at the slots! Lol but nope you couldn't see me.
Sam Rothstein's house from Casino 3515 Cochise Lane on the National Golf Course. They also landed the plane on the number 1 fairway on that same course. I was lucky enough to work there when the movie was being filmed. The spot where Ace's car was blown up was at the old Tony Roma's but now it's a Marie Calenders on East Sahara.
@@JoshRachael I think you guys will love it! Kevin Hart is in it and a few actors from Last Vegas. Caesars, Planet Hollywood and Paris are all shown throughout the movie
You definitely have to watch the last Jason Bourne movie as a good part of it was filmed in Aria. They also used the Riviera just before it was imploded. My husband and I we’re staying at Paris about the time they were filming the big chase scene down the strip, unfortunately we didn’t get to see it. But I do know someone that met Mat Damon on the way to the elevators one morning.
Paul Blart: Mall cop 2 And the tv show Las Vegas with James Caan and Josh Duhmel 2003-2008 A lot was filmed in studios but there were a lot of scenes filmed on the strip
One key location that was messed: The Neon Boneyard. Last Vegas, Mars Attacks, Vegas Vacation and so many more were filmed there. Side note ...its a great attraction.
Good call. When we decided to do this our goals was to make it walkable, but knew we couldn’t make a video not including Casino so that’s why that was the only downtown spot featured but agree Neon Museum makes some nice movie cameos
It’s because a lot of the places no longer exist, either due to being torn down or just remodeled. if you know of any that are still around please let us know
I’m sorry you took offense to my comment back to you, but we worked hard on this video and to have it called lame from someone who has never commented on a video does make me question the first part of your statement. So Many good Movies filmed in Las Vegas - What's your favorite? What Movies did we miss?
I greatly appreciate you guys doing this movie connection to Vegas. Very awesome!!
Glad you enjoy it!
What a refreshing video, about time someone thought outside of the box, good job J & R
🙌🏼 thank you so much, wanted to do something original, glad it clicked for you!!
So good. Thank you!!! I’ve seen Fools Rush In and Hangover and Vegas Vacation so many times and I never tire of them.
Rock on!
What a creative video! Fun to watch
Thank you 🤗
Really enjoyed that clever intro! ❤ great editing.
Thank you! Wanted to try something new, glad you liked it

That’s the crazy part that so many of the scenes are from Riviera and Statdust it seems
Casino had the famous shot inside the Peppermill fireside lounge.
That’s true, I just always remember the car scene though since the dummy is so obvious 😂
That’s pretty cool guys ! Thanks for the great video
Our pleasure!
Paul Blart Mall Cop 2! It was filmed primarily at the Wynn and was the first film where Steve Wynn allowed filming!
Good call!

Awesome thanks Scott!
Good video, great choice!
Glad you enjoyed it, had some fun figuring it out. Had to watch them all for “research”
They filmed a Jason Bourne movie in Aria as well… drove a motorcycle through the high roller area.
Casino is one of my favorite movies, had no clue they filmed that scene at Main Street.
Need to watch Jason Bourne, is that the name or is it one of the Bourne Identity series? Or an add on one?

No kidding? Haven’t seen that movie for a few decades, legit don’t remember anything about it
@JoshRachael Young Brad Pitt and Kim Basinger. Dude is a comic book artist and the movie goes in between the real world and the "cool world".
Guess we have to watch a few more Vegas videos
Great video!

Not a movie there is an early music video of Diana Ross - Why Do Fools Fall In Love
It was shot on Fremont around 1980

Does Mars Attacks! count as a Vegas movie?
Oh man knew we would get some we hadn’t watched or hadn’t watched to decades. What would you consider the iconic scene? Could for sure
@@JoshRachael the demolition of the Landmark (now Las Vegas Convention Center), scenes at the Neon Boneyard and Luxor.

3000 Miles to Graceland was a great movie but not sure if the casino still exists.
Dang forgot about that one
You missed Rat Race, where the first 15-20 minutes were shot at Venetian
🤦🏻 good call
You can sit outside of the Luxor like Nomi did in Showgirls
Haha that is true, hard to add that location into a walking your just for a 5 second clip, but it’s one we considered for sure
You 2 forgot about the Iron man scene which is in the opening
good call!
GO shot at the Riviera. You can see Slots of Fun and Circus Circus in the chase scenes.
Loved that movie!
Rat Race! Some iconic scenes were shot in the Venetian!
We even watched that one a couple years ago. Not too bad
The original Ocean's Eleven with the rat pack. Although the none of the hotels exist any more.
That was the problem with lots of the movies we watched, lots of locations no longer exist
Great editing. Do you feel that has improved. I am a new to your channel.
@@stevencutler3855 I am totally biased but I think our editing has gotten a lot better, at least I sure hope it has haha
Movie of Elvis Presley? You miss that one
which Elvis movie? Didn’t he do a movie at The International that is not open
No offense. Everyone knows the ones you mentioned. It would be more interesting the movies that are hard to figure out sheer they are.
It’s because a lot of the places no longer exist, either due to being torn down or just remodeled. if you know of any that are still around please let us know
