Sadly that’s how yz125s compare to ktm and husq 125s. Can spend a fortune doing every engine mod possible to make a yz125 as fast as a stock ktm125

It’s easy to sit behind a key board and judge a rider, but holy crap I feel like if he clicked another gear in some of those straights and corners he would’ve been in first by the first lap this kid rips!
sometimes another gear would just bog you down so even if he was staying in a certain gear it was prob for good reason

He was clearly drivning outside the markers. Don't get me wrong, impressive show, but he knows he's driving outside the track and that piss me off.
This video just does not do the sands of baja any justice. Absolutley insane.
Great footage. Love the sound of 125's. But you're also not suppose to go around the jumps, outside of the stakes.

Just because engines are designed to have high rpms doesn't mean riding them for a 15 minute moto doesn't do excessive wear. And any rider calls their dad their mechanic. Parents are proud to be their son/daughters mechanic. It was an innocent comment on a video that made anyone check if their ears were still ringing afterwards. Don't call me out for anything you don't know. I'm the furthest from a casual fan and I would love to know the pedestal you put yourself on to make such claims about other people.

Was not a fan of that cheater line on the single-single in the back section. In MXGP just this past weekend , the points leader got docked 20 positions for that exact same thing in EMX 250 2T class.
No one got docked in emx2T class this year ?
Man I remember my regional there in like 2010 on a 250 two stroke get my ass handed to me by the four strokes. Track was just as sick then. Hard on the bike but so much fun. Best track I ever went to.

His dad(me) told him to stop doing that after this Moto!! He was just as fast in this section without the low line on the jumps, so no he is not trained to do this nor has he ever done this before. Also look closely the kids in front of him were using it also!!

Why are tracks like this now. Have 4 strokes changed the way tracks are made? It's been 30 years since I raced but I remember tracks having many more turns and switch backs with obstacles right out of turns. Not all this high speed and long jumps. I'd like to see 2 stroke vs 4 on and old style track

You know what that does?? Absolutely nothing, bud. The wheels aren’t even on the dirt, and you aren’t accelerating when the clutch is engaged. If you can’t tell throughout that video the difference between him running through the gears and him revving with the clutch engaged, then that’s your own problem.
