I wish I was there I think the lineup they had was fantastic, Candy is my favorite I had the chance to see her she is amazing! There is no venue like Catalina Island, I have been there 5 times all for the jazz festival!!
Straight to The Heart Live got me through a lot when I was stationed in Italy in 1984 as part of the U. S. Air Force. A service member in Germany recorded the album on a cassette and I got a copy of a copy and wore that album out! I got a chance to tell Mr. Sandborn the story on the Smooth Jazz cruise in 2013. May he and his beautiful wife be at peace. Thanks Candy Dulfer for the performance.
