    Back in 2012 I woke to a fledgling eagle in my bedroom. I laid there staring at it trying to figure out what I needed to do when I caught it. I also thought about who to call once I caught it. I decided I'd grab my sheet and put it over him to catch him safely. I grabbed the sheet and it was gone. The room, messiness and lighting were the exact same but I didn't know where the baby eagle had gone. I even got up and literally looked for a few minutes before I realized it was a vision. It still confuses me to thus day!

    I had a dream on November 26, 2019. I drew out the image I remembered. It was a giant eagle made of gold looking it was coming to land on earth. It's wings were spread out and it's talons were out like it was about to land. The view of the earth was like you would be viewing the earth from space. I think of this image really often. What could it mean?

      Woah. February 2020 I too had a dream of an eagle landing. It looked like it was metal. Like a statue and it was descending or falling to earth. It landed in a river. I went up to it in a boat to see if it needed rescuing but it was gone by the time I could reach it. Not sure if it flew away or not.

    In these 2 short dreams were dead birds that were resurrected. the dreams were a few years apart.
    I was outside walking in a garden and saw a little dead bird on the path. I picked it up and said poor little bird and covered it with my other hand, felt something opened my hand and it was sitting there not only alive but restored, to look like a young bird again.
    In the next dream I walked into my living room and found my pet parakeet laying dead on her cage floor. I picked her up and held her and felt sad. I thanked God for her and the time I've had with her. like the other bird I'd put my hand over her and I felt some thing. I looked and she was standing there alive and restored like the other bird.

      You have seen this twice. Try this in your real life. Even if it does not work, still try. Despite there being meanings to the overall dream, Holy Spirit is a trainer. Speak life over a bird.

In my dream I was inside a car with my son I asked my son which way to turn and he said turn right. I took the right turn and then I stopped and stepped out of the car too see where I am at. I then looked up and see this huge eagle flying towards me the eagle was staring at me and then my son stepped out of the car and all of a sudden my son turned into an eagle and started flying high like he was showing off how high he can go and i was just amazed how beautiful this eagle was. I had a dream with 7 eagles flying and sitting on a house. Jesus came up to me and put a mantle made of eagle feathers on my shoulders. Then he handed me eagle chicks wrapped in cloth and told me to raise them, later on he gave me 2 eagle eggs to raise and showed me a barn with incubation type racks full of eagle eggs waiting to be hatched. I'll add another bird dream in another post.

      I did also. The only thing that coincided at that time was... children. There were kids that were in my life or came into it shortly thereafter that were Very neglected by their parents. Not in a food and clothing way, but in literally grew up in their bedrooms kinda, always sent away from the presences of the adults. No guidance, etc...they were starving for spiritual nurturing, even just engagement and being raised.

    • @jadensmith4607
      @jadensmith4607 4 роки тому

      I agree with txwildflowers I think the dream could have something to do with you taking care of kids that have been neglected. And I think that could happen many different ways whether you adopt kids, or work at a daycare or a school, or go on a missions trip where your working with kids there, etc. However it happens, I think the dream has something to do with you taking care of kids that really need a mother/guardian to love, care for, and protect them. And even though the kids are symbolized by birds in real life maybe God has anointed you to shelter them under your wings, as you are sheltered under His. Your dream makes me think of the word protecter, i suggest you read Psalms 91 KJV and TPT get a good image of God's protection in the Bible. Malachi 4:2, Luke 13:34, Mark 6:56, Matthew 23:37, and Acts 10:38 also come to mind.

    • @jadensmith4607
      @jadensmith4607 4 роки тому

      I also think the dream shows your gonna share the gospel with/pastor these kids, you said your trying to "save" them. You need Jesus in order to be saved. And you said the birds have not been feed or watered. In the parable of the sower seed represents the gospel message. Another common thing people feed birds is bread, Jesus is the bread of life. And water can symbolize the Holy Spirit. I pray that helps you understand your dream better, and God bless =)

    God never spoke to His prophets in vague dreams , feelings, puzzles or riddles. When He spoke it was very clear, precise, and specific. When Daniel, and Joseph were sought out to interpret dreams for various leaders, their interpretations were absolutely clear and precise. All of these prophetic utterances were clearly and precisely recorded in the Bible, Gods word. There are no modern day prophets, God has given preachers and teachers, to expound upon what has been written, not to add to His word.

    • @TazHall
      @TazHall 4 роки тому +3

      God still likes to speak in parables and doesn't always hand us answers on a platter. It encourages us to seek him for answers. I've had parable dreams and clear dreams. Several have come true. Perhaps if you took time to learn about spiritual gifts, it doesn't function exactly same as old covenant. There are classes about it now. God speaks thru Bible and through real-time rhema words from the Holy Spirit (always aligns with scripture).

      @aj9640w 4 роки тому

      @@KimDouglassMinistry The title "apostle" means one sent with a message, and it is a special office in the history of the church. Apostles were men who were appointed by Christ through a personal appearing (e.g. Paul on the road to Damascus) to hold the office. Only those who have personally witnessed the risen Christ in the flesh and received a commission directly from Him may assume this title. There were more than twelve apostles appointed in the early church, and these men lived until the end of the first century, which is why Paul still refers to this office as active in Ephesians 4:11. When the last apostle, John, died at the end of the first century, the office of apostle ceased to exist in the church.
      Christ established this office to author the New Testament canon through these men, and they were given unique miraculous powers to validate their ministry and authenticate their teaching. For example, the apostle Paul told the church in Corinth they could trust his word over that of false teachers because his powers validated his ministry:
      1Cor. 4:18 Now some have become arrogant, as though I were not coming to you. 1Cor. 4:19 But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the words of those who are arrogant but their power. 1Cor. 4:20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.
      2Cor. 13:10 For this reason I am writing these things while absent, so that when present I need not use severity, in accordance with the authority which the Lord gave me for building up and not for tearing down.
      Paul told Corinth that those who claimed to have authority by their words must demonstrate they also possess the power that came with apostolic authority otherwise they were not legitimate authority figures in the church. Such a test no longer exists in the church because the apostolic office no longer exists. In place of apostles we have the full counsel of God's word.
      Unfortunately, men (and even women) uninformed by the word of God or deceived by false teaching may attempt to appropriate this title for themselves, just as false apostles existed in the early church. In all cases, false apostles are shown to be counterfeits because they cannot perform the miracles required to validate their title. All apostles were given unique gifts of the spirit to validate their positions of authority. Christ told the apostles they could cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead and receive fatal snake bites but not die. Though the Lord may permit an individual Christian to do one or more of these miracles in rare cases, they are not normal Christian gifts; they were unique to apostles.
      The office of prophet is also misunderstood. The Bible uses the term prophet to describe a man gifted to deliver God's revelation to men. A prophet's words were recorded and eventually made a part of the canon of scripture. The office of prophet carries significant responsibilities and burdens, according to scripture. Specifically, the Bible says this concerning the office of prophet:
      Deut. 13:1 “If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, Deut. 13:2 and the sign or the wonder comes true, concerning which he spoke to you, saying, ‘ Let us go after other gods (whom you have not known) and let us serve them,’ Deut. 13:3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams; for the LORD your God is testing you to find out if you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Deut. 13:4 “You shall follow the LORD your God and fear Him; and you shall keep His commandments, listen to His voice, serve Him, and cling to Him. Deut. 13:5 “But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has counseled rebellion against the LORD your God who brought you from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, to seduce you from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from among you.
      The Bible taught Israel that anyone claiming the office of prophet was required to be 100% correct in ALL prophecies. If a supposed prophet was ever incorrect in their prophetic utterances - even just once - then they were to be put to death, according to the word. Many churches fail to understand this rigorous standard for prophecy required by scripture, and therefore we are tempted to assign this title too easily to those who wish to claim it. In reality, the biblical office of prophet no longer exists in the church, since the canon of scripture has been completed.
      Nevertheless, the Lord may bring supernatural insight concerning future events to anyone at anytime, but such a moment doesn't mean the person has become a prophet in the biblical sense. It simply means God has chosen to reveal something to them at a point in time for a certain purpose. This type of prophecy shouldn't be mistaken for the office of prophet.
      Many men and women go around in the church proclaiming themselves to be prophets, but if we apply the test God gives us in Deuteronomy, we quickly find these people to be frauds deceiving believers. Remember this exchange in Jeremiah:
      Jer. 14:13 But, “Ah, Lord GOD!” I said, “Look, the prophets are telling them, ‘You will not see the sword nor will you have famine, but I will give you lasting peace in this place.’” Jer. 14:14 Then the LORD said to me, “The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility and the deception of their own minds. Jer. 14:15 “Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who are prophesying in My name, although it was not I who sent them - yet they keep saying, ‘There will be no sword or famine in this land’ - by sword and famine those prophets shall meet their end!
      In the church today, we find no evidence of apostles nor prophets operating as the Bible requires. Instead, we may find an occasional person given insight of future events on an occasional basis, but mostly we find frauds claiming to have powers they cannot validate in the way the Bible requires.

      @@benjamintscholl1576 In the church today, some pastors are called Apostles. Others identify as prophets. As we consider these claims, we should first note that the Protestant Reformers would find it odd that some claim to be Apostles and prophets today. John Calvin’s comments on Ephesians 4:11 are representative: “Of the five offices which are here enumerated, not more than the last two are intended to be perpetual. Apostles, Evangelists, and Prophets were bestowed on the church for a limited time only-except in those cases where religion has fallen into decay, and evangelists are raised up in an extraordinary manner, to restore the pure doctrine which had been lost.”
      The nature of the Apostolic and prophetic offices explains why the Reformers believed that no Apostles or prophets lead the earthly church today. As we look at the New Testament, we see clearly a unique and foundational role for Apostles and prophets. These offices, Paul tells us in Ephesians 2:20, make up the foundation of the church, along with Jesus Christ, the chief cornerstone. The foundation of the church is laid only once, and Paul and the other Apostles understood themselves to be laying that foundation with their instruction (1 Cor. 3:11). From this we conclude that the office of Apostle was of limited duration; once the foundation was laid, God stopped sending Apostles.
      Prophets hold in common with Apostles the responsibility of delivering divinely revealed, authoritative teaching. Once God has spoken finally through His Son and those whom He appointed as His Apostles, there is no more special divine revelation until Christ returns (Heb. 1:1-2). Paul confirms this in 2 Timothy. He does not tell Timothy to look for new prophets and Apostles but to hold fast to what has already been delivered (2 Tim. 3:14-17).
      God gave His church prophets and Apostles so that we would have His inerrant, infallible Word. Now that we have His Word, we do not need living prophets or Apostles.
      God gave the Apostles and prophets for the good of His people, and they fulfilled their task by delivering to us His infallible Word. If we want to benefit from what these offices have to offer us today, we must pay heed to what they give us in Scripture. There is no other place today where we can find God’s special revelation to His people.
