I think you guys have reached a new level of evolution with those birds. They are clearly free and can fly anywhere, but they choose to come back to your hand, which I find incredible. They've crossed some boundary in their evolution, I'm not sure what it is yet.
There are three different hybrids, one a Harliquin. He’s a cross between a blue and gold and a green wing. The other is a Extreme Verde, a cross between a buffons and a Scarlet. The other is called Aqua Blush, and he is a cross between a Verde and a blue and gold.
@@epicfreeflight Fascinating. I've never heard of an Extreme Verde macaw before. Would you say hybrid macaws behave any differently than pure species macaws? I've heard Catalina macaws might be easier to train than scarlet or B&G, but that could be false.
@@Mad_Ancient_Computer_700AD my experience is limited, I have only had a greenwing and a blue and gold pure species. Blue and golds in general seem to be an easier to handle macaw. The hybrid Harliquin Tango (GW x BG) is a great personality. Funny and sweet with a small touch of sass. The extreme verde is often called the gentle giant. And he is, however he is a handful and can get aggressive. The Aqua blush is still a baby at just over a year, and he is as sweet as any animal can be, his nick name is puppy, he is snuggly and sweet. He is also a very large Macaw.
My parrot loves coffee. One mouthful is all, though!
Gorgeous babies!

I wouldn't want to fly in that arid hell either plus they can be atracked by birds of prey, gotta be rattlers out there as well
Promo-SM ✋
