My parents are immigrants from Turkey and have worked their nails off to put me through school, even if it meant missing meals. I promised myself that early morning that I'll pay it forward. Today I received my degree as a civil engineer. It was the first time I had ever seen my father cry. Here I am, laying in bed; at 2:30 am, 4 years later. Nothing is ever promised- our time on this earth is limited, we are all capable of achieving great things. All we have is memories to look back on when those we love part from us to hopefully rest in paradise; let's make it count. Thank you Mr. West for being a part of my story.

This is actually my favorite song ever...idk but it just brings me the most nostalgia and reminds me of when i was a kid and didnt understand anything and my mom always played this cd...but on top of that it just takes me back before my mom was mentally ill and dated douches and before my parents split...my mom always calls me her little bear too so i always felt a connection with the yeezy bear...so ill always defend kanye because his music always impacts me in some way...and now ive always remembered the lesson of this song "nothings ever promised tomorrow, today" and its made a lot of events in my life easier to live with

Kanye has made some of my favorite music and he is one of the best Artists imo but he not one of the best MC's. His wordplay or bars isn't what makes Kanye so great. It is his production and message (in his old music) and his ability to create a project
