I’ve bought 2 more booster boxes. I’ve weighed them and the weights of mine varied between 22.11g to 22.37g my 2 heaviest packs in each box had the big hitters. My light packs had a few hits. My medium weight packs had a few hits so I don’t think it is weighable.

I’ve gotten all the chase cards from picking sleeved boosters in random odd sets of 3. Say there’s 40 packs in a row, you want to pick the first 3, then skip the next 4, and so on.
Not able to weigh them consistently. They fixed this a long time ago. Some japanese modern sets sometimes give weird results looking like they could be weighed but it just comes down to randomness.
In my case, from individual blisters, the medium individual blister was 8,7g empty, i have subtracted the weight from the total and keeping those that gave me about 22.23g the less, and 22.41g the top, from 11 blisters, i keep 3 unopened (22,48g or something more) for the art set of blisters, and from the other 8 blisters, 3 holos, 2 V full arts (umbre and flare) and 1 normal V medicham, the other 2 was the ligther 22.23g was green and a random 22.35g that was green too.

In my experience, prices fall heavily in the first 2 weeks. Then stabilize and as soon as packs become scarce is when they start going up allot in price again

Would have been interesting to know the weight of the wrapping, code cards and different rarity cards. I've weighed some of my cards. My big hits were all around 2.00g (alt art V, full art V, VMAX, rainbow VMAX) Non Holo rares were 1.85 White codes were 1.32 Green codes were 1.42 I didn't bother weighing any of the packs when opening but now I wish I did to see if my box was the same
Idk man because your video keeps cutting back and forth with cards off-screen, to your face, then magically cards in your hand... You need to keep the camera on the cards at all times for me to believe

I bought three booster boxes and weighed them individually. One weighed in at 840.5g while the others weighed in at 864.5g. I opened the lighter box and got the same results as seen in this video. 16 white cards in the 22.3g range. Every other pack was heavier. Made opening the rest quite uneventful lol
I actually like that sets can be weighed because I am very unlucky with packs so I am able to buy weighed packs on eBay and other sights and know for sure I’ll at least get a holo hit 😊

The problem with this is on the other side of things. I hope you learned this 3 years later, but when a seller "Knows" what is in the packs yet sells them at premium prices, it sux for the buyer and any newcomers because they are getting scammed if the seller knows they are selling a dead pack. just sucks when the seller isnt honest about what you are buying. these packs off the shelf are like a gamble, but when the seller knows they are selling a dead pack, its nothing but a loose for the buyer. not cool
So guess what I just opened an entire ETB of this set all white codes, half the box didn't have any holos or hits even though they were white. My booster boxes however were part green part white, white got hits green did not so weighing may not be possible
Next time show the packs on the scale. Then your results will hold more value. Although I understand why you wouldn’t to save time, I just think it would help the argument. Thank you for the video

Maybe they changed it a year later or my scale is off I had 6 loose packs ranging from 21.24 to 21.86 and I opened those 2 packs and nothing.. so maybe packs 22.24 to 22.33 is sweet spot ? Just weird that you lightest pack was 22.24…🤷♂️
It changes from print run to print run so if those packs came from different runs it could be different and they changed the code card as well in the new packs.
I will weigh the packs from one of my booster boxes and I will see if my results are the same as yours. The results from this video were very interesting. Congrats on the full art raihan, its a super cool card!
I just weighed out my box 15 we’re light 17 were a little heavier and 4 heavies I’m gonna start by open up the light ones good video I’m not going to selling my light I’ll keep for sale collection and send some off to grade when PSA fucking lowers their price LOL
Well that is scary… guess I won’t be buying lose from anyone now. I had some pretty weird stuff going on with my opening from a sealed booster box, same artworks, same energies in the packs going back most the box. I did record it thankfully so it’s on my channel, but scary times.
I bought 10 booster boxes. 4 of them were 840g, 3 were 830g and ther other 3 were between 818-821g. Opened 6 of them as of today. 2 of them were complete crap, both were 840g. 2 of them were average, both were 830g. 2 of them were amazing, both were 819g and 820g. We could be on to something... My 840g boxes were messed up too, half of the cards in each packs were upside down.
I tried this same experiment and had the same experience. Out of My first 16 packs I opened 15 white code cards. The 15 packs were the lightest of the packs. I then opened the remainder of the box just to be sure there wasn’t a rainbow or gold card hiding in the heavies. They were all green code cards. I really wish Pokémon would do something about this. It’d be so nice if they’d make them unweighable.
IT kinda seems like you cut the packs and looked to find code card color for a video of all hits.. A box just wouldn't have this many hits period, weighable or not
Nope it can not be weighed. I've had heavy packs with bad cards and light packs with bad cards. I've weighed the codecards and depending on the ink on them they can have a weight difference of 0.1 g more or less so it's not accurate at all. I've opened light packs with a v card and light packs with not a single hit in them. Heavy packs with alt arts and heavy back with no hits. Opened 3 booster boxes. The weight just depends on how much ink they put on the code card and no, white code cards are not lighter or heavier that's why you end up with 4 different weight classes. So you can't weigh them on purpose. You might get a v card and a light weighing code card. Or a pack with a v card and a heavy weighing code card.
Interesting to see this, It's a good thing for people buying single packs online so they don't get scammed with bad packs. I'll open up a case of fusion when it comes out and weigh them too :) . Allso will check if the packs are random like in evolving skies. Mtg boosters allways have a fixed amount of rares, mystic and non rare cards. I wish it was the same way with pokemon but then they would have to limit the printing of some alt arts let's say 200 rayquaza vmax alt and 800 leafeon alt arts. That way rayquaza would still be rarer but at least everyone gets an alt art in a booster. I think pokemon will never do this, people buy booster boxes sometimes because they now they could get a god box with 40 to 50% hits and to be honest it's working, boosters are sold out, blisters and etb's are still found. I've had a terrible pull rate with etb's and blisters. It's something to keep in mind and I think pokemon company might raise the amount of hits in etb's and blisters to sell more product. Now everyone buys boosters, not bad for sales ofcourse. It's what they want, sell their most expensive product the most, that's why booster boxes generally have better pulls.
I wonder if they are weighting/lightening the online tcg code cards? That could account for lightness on the shiny cards. Could you weigh the code cards? I also wonder if they are even starting to randomize weights to make it harder? Some varying findings in the comments makes it suspect, That said, every time I bought these individual packs at a gamestop I had 0 hits. When i bought them from Walmart I had pretty decent pull rates. I doubt most Walmart employees care when they are stocking shelves... but, most gamestop employees IMO are questionable.

I know, I am always hesitant to do these but I couldn't not share the warning to others. Hopefully people don't take advantage of at least people can be leary of buying loose packs
Bud I went to buy a booster box because I had to try this. All my packs weighed 21.7g or 21.8g or 21.9g and there were white code cards in all weights lol. You literally hit the error box hahahaha. I wonder if anyone else has had a box like yours
Glad I found this video before I started ripping my BB. Wanting to keep 1 of each pack art sealed, and now I know which to save. Gonna run this test on my own on Monday, and report back if I have the same results.
I did not doing a specific weighing video on Battle Styles but they should not be weighable just like all modern packs. Battles styles I found to be really tough to get pulls from it. See my follow up video to this video as I did a second test.

It's not clickbait but I do appreciate being skeptical. I edit so the video isn't super long. I did a second video explaining why this box was weighable as I tested a second time with another box.
Probably fake video, there is a lot of video editing right after you open a pack, so no way of knowing if those card really come out of the pack you just opened

Light packs have the hits for me. AA and gold and rainbow. All have green code cards. Green code cards weigh less than other packs. -0.1g

No. Not all i have packs 20.06g and they have nothing. And code card in this packs are turned to the wrong side.

Prices always fall after a set comes out. Well almost always. I don't sell myself personally but as supply increases, prices fall.

I don't believe it's possible as the amount of glue on the sleeved booster and variability of the cardboard itself makes it a challenge.

If they are the same print run, yes I believe so. It changes from print run to print run so the only way to be sure is weighing an entire booster box.

The ETB is an error as I have heard that happening a bunch. And your booster box it all depends how heavy your green code cards were.

I too have weighed a booster box and found 8/12 light packs had hits the other 4 didn’t... then a heavier pack had an alt art 🤷🏻♀️

IT kinda seems like you cut the packs and looked to find code card color for a video of all hits.. A box just wouldn't have this many hits period, weighable or not

Nope it can not be weighed. I've had heavy packs with bad cards and light packs with bad cards. I've weighed the codecards and depending on the ink on them they can have a weight difference of 0.1 g more or less so it's not accurate at all. I've opened light packs with a v card and light packs with not a single hit in them. Heavy packs with alt arts and heavy back with no hits. Opened 3 booster boxes. The weight just depends on how much ink they put on the code card and no, white code cards are not lighter or heavier that's why you end up with 4 different weight classes. So you can't weigh them on purpose. You might get a v card and a light weighing code card. Or a pack with a v card and a heavy weighing code card.

Interesting to see this, It's a good thing for people buying single packs online so they don't get scammed with bad packs. I'll open up a case of fusion when it comes out and weigh them too :) . Allso will check if the packs are random like in evolving skies. Mtg boosters allways have a fixed amount of rares, mystic and non rare cards. I wish it was the same way with pokemon but then they would have to limit the printing of some alt arts let's say 200 rayquaza vmax alt and 800 leafeon alt arts. That way rayquaza would still be rarer but at least everyone gets an alt art in a booster. I think pokemon will never do this, people buy booster boxes sometimes because they now they could get a god box with 40 to 50% hits and to be honest it's working, boosters are sold out, blisters and etb's are still found. I've had a terrible pull rate with etb's and blisters. It's something to keep in mind and I think pokemon company might raise the amount of hits in etb's and blisters to sell more product. Now everyone buys boosters, not bad for sales ofcourse. It's what they want, sell their most expensive product the most, that's why booster boxes generally have better pulls.

I wonder if they are weighting/lightening the online tcg code cards? That could account for lightness on the shiny cards. Could you weigh the code cards? I also wonder if they are even starting to randomize weights to make it harder? Some varying findings in the comments makes it suspect,
That said, every time I bought these individual packs at a gamestop I had 0 hits. When i bought them from Walmart I had pretty decent pull rates. I doubt most Walmart employees care when they are stocking shelves... but, most gamestop employees IMO are questionable.

This is NOT good... It's a double edge sword. You want people to be aware of stuff like this. But then again, some people are going to use this for evil 😈. Very good box tho💪
I know, I am always hesitant to do these but I couldn't not share the warning to others. Hopefully people don't take advantage of at least people can be leary of buying loose packs
Bud I went to buy a booster box because I had to try this. All my packs weighed 21.7g or 21.8g or 21.9g and there were white code cards in all weights lol. You literally hit the error box hahahaha. I wonder if anyone else has had a box like yours

I did not doing a specific weighing video on Battle Styles but they should not be weighable just like all modern packs. Battles styles I found to be really tough to get pulls from it. See my follow up video to this video as I did a second test.

It's not clickbait but I do appreciate being skeptical. I edit so the video isn't super long. I did a second video explaining why this box was weighable as I tested a second time with another box.

Probably fake video, there is a lot of video editing right after you open a pack, so no way of knowing if those card really come out of the pack you just opened
