It's how music supposed to be, intra-languical, emotion encapsulated in sound.
The singer had a strong heroin addiction, here on stage was probably in his withdrawal phase from not getting any. A peculiar state, for him standing there was probably a big struggle.

You should try to lisen TADEUSZ NALEPA i think he is even better then dzem obviusli dzem was making tracks after nalepa so they sounds so similar but Nalepa is THE father of blus music in poland. Anyway i respekt rysirek ridel and tadeusz nalepa in the same level those persons make some remarkable moves for polish music ,

Nic nie jest i nie będzie lepsze od koncertu we Wrocku w 1987 roku. Wystąpili : Dżem, Recydywa Blues Band, The After Blues, Martyna Jakubowicz, Ireneusz Dudek. Kilka godzin wspaniałej muzyki. Stałem przy samej scenie, 2 metry od Ryśka,który dostał od nas słoik prawdziwego dżemu truskawkowego. Dał z siebie wszystko, jak zawsze. Genialny piosenkarz i człowiek.

That's how you look if you're high on heroin. Riedel died 3 years later sadly, noone has better voice than him, especially if it comes to his timing when he sings it's just perfect, not many singers have this.

Dżem was blues-rock band most popular in 1980s-early 1990s. Lead singer and songwriter Ryszard Riedel (1956-1994) died from drug addiction at age 38. He was famous for his autobiographical lyrics. Later group had 2 other singers but not so talented. 'List do M' is 'Letter to M(other)' and is about difficult relations between son and his mother. Other songs by Dżem: Naiwne pytania (Naive questions), Dzień w którym pękło niebo (The day that heaven broke), Paw (Peacock), Kim jestem jestem sobie (Who am I? I am for myself), Whisky, Victoria, Wehikuł czasu (Time machine). Another popular blues-rock group was Breakout (1969-79). Breakout songs: Modlitwa (Prayer), Kiedy byłem małym chłopcem (When I was a young boy), Poszłabym za tobą (I would go after you), Gdybyś kochał hej (If you would love), Na drugim brzegu tęczy (On the other side of rainbow).
